This mom is LOUD!

This thing is LOUD. I bought this to replace a Z-Wave siren that people said was loud but actually as loud as a smoke alarm (loud of course) but this thing blows it out of the water. Not even comparable. Your neighbors will hear it no matter where it happens in your home. I bought it to use with my self-configured Z-Wave home security system (using a Z-Wave socket and a plug-in AC-DC converter as it requires 12V DC. Works!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I wish I had bought this sooner

I had a bunch of very noisy neighbors who moved into a rental house next door. The latter loves to go out with his buddies and have his stereo on as loud as possible until the wee hours. Calls to the police turned up nothing, and a few months ago he upgraded his outdoor stereo to make it even louder. I couldn't hear the TV in my house when it was completely black. Every time his stereo got loud, I turned it on for a few minutes. The cops were called and as soon as I explained it they just…

Very loud! at Horns & Sirens

I used this to build my own security siren (SmartThings). This Siren + SmartThings Connector + 120VAC to 12VDC Power Adapter (BINZET DC12V 2.5A 30W LED Power Adapter) = Quick and Easy Siren. I just connected the power supply to the siren with nuts, then connected the power supply to the switched ZigBee outlet and that's it! With SmartThings Smart Home Monitor, I used Alert with Lights and selected the outlet. Now when the alarm goes off, the outlet turns on, which turns on the siren! And that…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

LOUD and easy to install

This siren is built to last. I connected this to a smart switch so I can start it remotely with my smartphone. They have two tones, a chirp and a car like alarm siren. I don't need Twitter, but it's nice to know it's there. This siren is so loud I didn't install it outside. In fact, it's in my garage and thieves can't break in. Nevertheless, the credit is enough (even if inside) to alert the whole district :) The wiring direction is quite simple; although the instructions are minimal. You need…

You can make it work with Ring and Alexa.

This is one of the best things I have ever bought with my own hands. Requires a transformer. I connected mine via two Alexa WiFi plugins. (In case you didn't turn off after remote activation) One smart socket on the power supply and one on the transformer. (power adapter = plug-in = extension cord = plug-in = transformer = megaphone) I have a security ring and the siren is not very loud. Now when I get a ring alarm, I can activate the bull horn from anywhere. worldwide with the Alexa App or…

  • Few competitors

  • Poor instructions
