I used this to build my own security siren (SmartThings). This Siren + SmartThings Connector + 120VAC to 12VDC Power Adapter (BINZET DC12V 2.5A 30W LED Power Adapter) = Quick and Easy Siren. I just connected the power supply to the siren with nuts, then connected the power supply to the switched ZigBee outlet and that's it! With SmartThings Smart Home Monitor, I used Alert with Lights and selected the outlet. Now when the alarm goes off, the outlet turns on, which turns on the siren! And that thing is insanely loud! I also added it to Alexa (via SmartThings) and now I can say "Alexa, turn on the siren" when I think there's an intruder in the house.
