Good workmanship, poor design

This is a nice feeder for the price. As someone else pointed out, even small birds have trouble getting past the cage to get to the seed.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Disappointed with food and drink

I have not received any instructions on this. The only way to fill it is to pry off the metal top. Definitely annoying. It's squirrel resistant, but my squirrels cling to it, shake it, and then eat the seeds.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Unfashionable

NOT SQUIRREL SAFE - Feeding and Watering Products

Took about 2 days before the squirrels gnawed holes for the seeds and pulled them (including perches) out of the unit and turned everything upside down. and threw away the seed. Otherwise great for small birds, the cardinal size has issues with pinching the wires.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some flaws

VERY DISAPPOINTED: Feeder

I TRIED TO ROTATE THE CAGE A LITTLE BUT IT WILL NOT ROTATE SO IT IS STILL FULL AFTER 3 WEEKS. THIS PROTECTS NOT ONLY AGAINST PROTEINS BUT ALSO AGAINST BIRDS.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Quality

Excellent feeder for small birds 🐦

I read reviews and was worried I bought the wrong feeder. Then I filled it with sunflower seeds and hugged it. A few days later I saw a tit feeding on it. After a few weeks, he's a favorite tit and house finch, and they gather in flocks. I've never seen a squirrel attack him or even try to push him off a tree. If there are smaller birds in your area, this is actually a very good feeder. It's easy to fill, easy to keep clean and a treat for little birds. It's pretty well made and I imagine it…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
