Garbage. Didn't work right out of the box.

I've read reviews that some of these devices stink. Well they were right. This smoke alarm failed the test, the battery was not replaceable etc. It was dead on arrival. Send back.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • unreliable

Smoke detector First Alert P1210E

It replaced the smoke alarm which was exactly the same. All I had to do was take the old one off and put the new one in the same spot so everything would fit exactly the same. It says it's an alarm clock with a 10 year lifespan, but the first one didn't last that long, it lasted about 5-6 years, which is fine by me. I would buy it again.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks

Has lasted 3 out of 10 10 years as it should. Then it got crazy.

Easy installation and I like the long battery life. That means you don't have to change the battery every year. This saves a lot of money on batteries. Unfortunately, this device started shutting down for no reason. I removed it and put a pneumatic vacuum cleaner on it. I put it on the coffee table in the living room after cleaning and it still turned off for no reason. For this behavior he was beaten. Crying wolf is not allowed.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative impression

Unreliable and unpredictable

I bought this unit to replace the previous PR710 model. Let's start by saying I bought the first model last year and it lasted about 9 months. It beeps like a dead battery. Annoying, since a service life of 10 years is advertised. Good. Replaced by this model, purchased in August of this year. Less than 3 months later he failed at the worst. Four in the morning and it worked like it had detected smoke! After a thorough check in my house nothing. Of course, the reason I hit the mute button was…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some defects
