📚 First Time Knitting: A Complete Beginner's Guide (Book 2) Review

My wife bought this book and she loves it. She first checked it out from the library and decided that she really should get this book! It came as promised, in excellent condition. This is a great book for beginners, even those who are self-taught like my wife does. There is a wide variety of items you can make and clear instructions for all basic knitting skills. She definitely recommends it to anyone who is just starting out. She just finished knitting a baby blanket and said it was very easy.

Viewed projects. The first 2 are simple scarves. Then they jump to get quite complex with confusing directions. And I threw this book away in anger after tripping over a sentence in the introduction. ".Setting, knitting and tying. You'll find that these three steps are easy to learn." Really? What about those of us who haven't had it easy? Is it really necessary to offend some of your readers? I struggled to learn these three things , and was pleased and proud of myself when I did it.

Excellent book 4 for me as I've been trying to learn to knit for 11 months. I have a million knitting books that are great, but when trying to make a project I had to review almost all of them. NO LONGER. This little beauty has enough of everything to give you real pleasure! For example, which equipment is used most frequently in which projects. Duz'nt seems like a lot, but it really helps. Too bad I didn't start this book! Along with knitting, increases, decreases, shapes, K in the round, etc.
