I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

The watch is very stylish, light, you can always change the display / brightness, etc. But zen comes after a month of playing with watch settings)

Pros
  • Very stylish watch, incredibly beautiful display, accuracy when swimming (checked with miband data) and my own calculations (+ data from the coach in the pool). Lightweight, comfortable strap. It's really cool that you can change the music volume on your watch without using your phone. It is very convenient to run with music in the watch by connecting wireless headphones to it. To do this, the headphones must be unplugged from the phone, otherwise the watch simply will not see them. I like to keep track of time and played around with the backlight settings for a long time. As a result, I chose "always on" and after 5 seconds of inactivity, they go into a dim backlight. I installed different dials and am very pleased with them. I turn off the clock from 23 to 6.30. Charging is enough for 3 days. There is a contactless payment function, but I have not used it yet. I'm sure it's very convenient, especially after a workout or a run to run to the store for something.
Cons
  • It is very inconvenient that not all incoming calls come to the clock (synchronization from android to mi1), and when the call comes, the vibration is only 2 times and that's it ! Yes, the display shows a call, but while driving, nothing is clear - this is a notification that you can read later or a call! I beg the developers to make it possible to select vibration in the settings for an incoming call! This is very important, personally for me and for many who receive a bunch of notifications, mailing lists and SMS every day! With the recording of classes several times, it is not intuitively clear how to save (((it was not mentioned anywhere that it was necessary to hold the start button for a long time to record a workout in the pool. As a result, the first two workouts were not saved. Maybe for experienced users this is understandable, I don’t .

Terrible quality, disappointed with the purchase.

Surprised by the large number of rave reviews, so I decided to leave a negative review to warn potential buyers from possible disappointment from a not the cheapest fitness tracker with a claim to a smart watch with a poor-quality function for determining heart rate during workouts. For me, getting a Venu in 2022 seems very questionable in terms of price / benefit. 1. If you need a smartwatch with the ability of an amateur fitness tracker, it is much more reasonable to buy an Apple Watch. 2…

Pros
  • Perhaps this is really the most similar product from Garmin to a smart watch. Perhaps the most successful from this point of view in their product line. Users have already left a lot of rave reviews before me - you can read about the merits of Venu in other reviews. Yes, battery. Yes, the screen (although, sorry, compared to the Apple Watch, the Venu's screen seems like baby talk), yes, hypometry, yes, the stress detection function and related alerts, yes, this is a cool feature of the watch, but . When one of the key functions of a fitness tracker, namely the determination of heart rate during training, actually does not work correctly, and it will work normally only in pair with an additional heart rate sensor (for example, a chest strap), the joy of using this expensive device is greatly reduced. Keep this in mind when making a purchase decision!
Cons
  • The function of determining the heart rate during training does not just work badly, it is terrible. Heart rate is determined INCORRECTLY. Details can be found on the Garmin Venu forum. I have been using the watch for more than a month, during this time the watch received 5-7 different firmware ates, the model itself was released in September 2022, it has been on the market for more than 9 months, but the function for determining heart rate during training did not work well, it remains the same. In this regard, the question arises, why is this caused: by the complete sloppiness of the manufacturer, the inability to correct the heart rate at the firmware level without destroying other Venu functions, or are unrecoverable at the firmware level by errors in the heart rate sensor in Venu?

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I bought it as a sport accessory and was very pleasantly surprised by the possibilities. I use it mostly in the gym and for running. For a year, the glass was not scratched and, in general, the body is alive, despite active use. NFC works fine. The music control functions are very convenient.

Pros
  • There is everything you need, both for life and for sports.
Cons
  • Not enough battery life. When connecting one device via ANT + (cardio sensor) and one device via Bluetooth (sneakers), the music starts to stutter a lot. I wanted to run without a phone - it didn’t work out.

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

The wow effect of the screen is provided even to the most captious. The original silicone strap is very comfortable. Glitches were not noticed. They charge very quickly, it seems that in 30 minutes completely from the computer. I use it at 80% screen brightness, so the battery lasts only 3 days, but this is with the heart rate monitor and pulse oximeter always on. We connected with Samsung Note 9 once and for all). There are a lot of interesting analytics for lovers of their health and fitness.

Pros
  • Screen! Appearance. NFS payment.
Cons
  • Does not support some chest sensors. Bursts the battery at high screen brightness.

I've never seen anything worse! A terrible purchase.

It catches, to put it mildly, awful, you need to wait 30 minutes until the clock finds a satellite. Broken pixels appeared, warranty support in the 2022 simply merged. The notorious company Navikom, posing as an exclusive representative.

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

The possibilities were a really nice surprise to me after I purchased it as a sport gear. I usually use it for running and at the gym. The glass was not scratched for a year, and despite frequent use, the body is generally alive. No issues with NFC. The controls for the music are quite practical.

Pros
  • You have access to all you require, both in life and in athletics.
Cons
  • inadequate battery life. The music begins to skip a lot when two devices are connected by ANT + (cardio sensor) and Bluetooth (sneakers). It didn't work out for me to run without a phone.

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Excellent watch, there used to be frontiers, I don’t regret that I left Samsung and didn’t buy watchactive 2 Pros below: 5 days without charging, almost everything is on, only the aod is turned off and the pulse oximeter works at night, the tracks write accurately, I checked it while riding a bike, the graphs never went wrong, sleep counts only when I sleep. There is no irritation on the hand from the native strap, synchronization with the phone in the Garmin Connect application does not…

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

Different pros: They have a universal design, a comfortable soft strap, the ability to quickly change the straps. Given the quality of the display, good autonomy - enough for 4 days with one or two workouts. For a non-professional athlete, great functionality for different activities. I did not notice any serious lies in terms of measured indicators. Very functional and convenient Garmin Connect web-interface (viewing activities and other indicators). Convenient payment with Garmin Pay, no more

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

In terms of price / quality ratio, the best solution on the market for amateur athletes and for those who simply monitor their health Has pros: Perhaps these are the best smartwatches in the middle price category: - Appearance is universal for any style of clothing. - Stable software, clear interface - got used to management in 10 minutes. Regular firmware and firmware ates improve device performance. - Accurate work of sensors, obviously not worse than competitors - compared with Samsung…

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Cool watch, look harmonious, very functional. I do fitness, run, swim, ride a bike - for all these there are convenient modes with statistics. There is a running coach for example. I swam in them in the sea - I work as they did, I don’t even take them off in the sauna. I managed to take them for half the price from a friend to whom they were presented, but he wanted an apple watch) I probably wouldn’t take it for the full price, although I can afford to buy any watch. I bought something like…

Pros
  • The bright screen attracts attention, functionality, ease of use, stuffed with everything possible. NFC is probably one of the few hours where they work.
Cons
  • The screen is scratched easily, it is not yet a year old and already there are 2-3 powerful scratches on the screen. They glitched so I had to take it under warranty, of course everything fell off. But they did it quickly in 1-2 days. Thanks to the seller Garmin in Tver. Swimming in the pool does not count correctly. When you just start swimming, it counts 400m out of 500 -600, when you swam 1km, it shows 1150). There was a funny incident in the mountains, we went up on a lift to a mountain meadow - every second it signaled about the floors passed - I was sick of it) the next day this was not by the way.

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

The watch shows heart rate, stress level, breathing rate, calories burned per day, distances and ascents / descents by floors, stress, rest and sleep levels. The watch includes basic types of workouts, I use running on a simulator, cardio, Pilates (it counts breathing perfectly) I created my own workout so that you can track your heart rate at different times of the workout (the application on your phone allows you to create a workout yourself). It is convenient to view workouts and then adjust

Pros
  • - Good functionality. - Design. - Six days of smartwatch operation on a single charge!
Cons
  • No

Great product, best quality.

Great watch, my wife loves it. The number of functions is simply amazing, but it is not very convenient that it is difficult to use all this. Sometimes, for example, you can not understand whether the training is included. Well, I would already like some standard universal way to charge in 2022. If you go somewhere, you have to drag another cable that is suitable only for watches. And, of course, the lack of navigation at least from turn to turn upsets. But despite all these shortcomings, this…

Pros
  • - design - the weight - autonomy - functionality
Cons
  • - does not support maps - no wireless charger - own charging port - complex training management - the interface is not very friendly - high price

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality, not an outstanding product.

I bought a watch in the aliexpress store. Pleasantly surprised by its impeccable fit, no other watch sat on the hand as well as this one. Next came the introduction to the OS. The watch is more sports than everyday, so everything does not look as beautiful as on the same apple / Samsung watch. But everything is very intuitive and understandable. That's where the positives ended. The first disappointment was how the watch works during sports. When jogging on the track, the watch overestimated…

Pros
  • Good fit, functionality.
Cons
  • Charger. Strongly overestimate the data on the treadmill. Unreliable.

The perfect smartwatch and running watch combo

I bought this watch thinking I needed an upgrade from my Garmin Forerunner 230. This version is trendy and looks smaller on my wrist which I'm hoping would have. Another thing that I was VERY interested in was the music feature. I used the race music feature and it worked flawlessly. I didn't have my phone with me during these runs and the music downloaded to my watch was perfect! Battery life has been excellent so far, with a full charge of up to 5k - with GPS and the music function - my watch

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Has quirks

Disappointing - Smartwatch

I have been using Garmin watches for ten years now and trust me when I tell you to save your money with this watch. I had the original Vivoactive (square) and loved it. I had a Vivoactive 3 and it was very buggy for the first 6 months but then it got better. until a software update resulted in less than half the battery life compared to before. So I decided to switch to this one. This stupid watch CONSTANTLY disconnects from my phone and only reconnects if I repeat each troubleshooting step…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Clarity

Buy after fixing the bugs!

The Venu is a great watch but the week I've had it I've had a headache. I called Revain support twice: once about the inability to check the time using gestures, and the second time about the horrible "IQ!" icon on the screen. Revane was friendly but didn't know much about the clock. They got me restarting my watch, turning it on and off, and reinstalling the Garmin IQ app. These steps fixed the issues temporarily. With the continued "IQ!" error, I called Garmin tech support who said the issue…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Great fitness watch!

This is my first Garmin. I used to have Fitbits and Samsung Gear Fit2 watches. I don't normally post reviews but I did a lot of research to make my decision to buy this watch so I figured I read the reviews a lot and it helped me so why not do this to help someone out maybe ele. I've only had the watch for a few days, but so far I'm loving it! I've used them on several workouts including running outdoors with GPS and it was spot on! I like how it fits, it's very light for me. They fit my wrist…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • upgradeable
