🕰️ Quartz Pendulum Clock Movement DIY Kit with Hands and Pendulum, by Hicarer Review

I don't buy it. Garbage. Bought and it stopped working within 36 hours. Bought a second one and it stopped working within 24 hours.

I replaced the movement in my wooden watch with this one and it worked great for about a year. Now he sucks the battery in a month. You get what you pay for.

Using the attached diagram, installation was easy. I decided to create a preset to see what it would look like. I didn't need a pendulum. The watch looks great with 2 gold hands (hour and minute) and a black second hand. As soon as I put the battery in, the clock started working.

Everything you need for a pendulum clock is included. I replaced the movement with a clock I built in 1983 - everything fitted perfectly except I had to keep my original clock and pendulum. Measure carefully to ensure the stem length matches your replacement. Very happy with this replacement. The mechanism is very quiet and only requires one AA battery.

This is a very good product. If you are an amateur you can make your own clock or rebuild an old clock with a new one like I did. The stem of this movement only accepts hands with round mounting holes, which was good for me as I wanted to reuse my watch. The original clock hands and mounting holes are round. Some other watches on sale have a non-round shaft. This mechanism shows the exact time.

I didn't know that this bracket kit is suitable for very thin dials. I have a ⅝ inch thick wooden watch and the face is not long enough to fit the hands. The hands are also very thin, but I wasn't expecting much at this price point. They will work just fine as long as the kids don't knock the clock off the wall haha. I'll leave them and try sanding the back of my watch. I'll attach images if I can get them to work.

The mechanism on my Howard Miller wall clock broke and I wanted to replace it. They want >$100 for their move, which didn't make sense to me. This move doesn't have a beep like my old one, but we've toned it down anyway and Revain has options if that's what you're looking for. I can tell you that this move has no problem with a very heavy pendulum and has been great so far. The only thing I don't know yet is how long the battery will last to support a large pendulum.

I have a regulator watch with a quartz movement and a pendulum. While the clockwork was still working correctly, the pendulum barely moved. I bought this device and quickly exchanged it. He added a used reamer that the original didn't have. The arrows were a little longer than the original but I cut them off with wire cutters and they worked fine. The new pendulum is shorter/smaller than the old one, but if you didn't know that, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

Bought to replace a 15 year old motor we had in our grandfather clock. I had high hopes as it was highly rated and selected on Amazon. Within 2 days the engine stalled and the clock hands stopped moving. I found the motor to be underpowered; The clock hand has to be pressed and moves a little, but after a minute it stops.
