its janky, but works pretty well.

in my experience < this splitter works as expected BUT! Once you get it working it should NEVER be moved out of position or it will be clipped. I suggest attaching it to something that won't allow it to move, and then plugging in wires and playing around with it until you find a magic position that it likes and sends signals through it. It's actually not that bad, but seriously, once you get it, never touch it or you'll have to fiddle with it again. I stopped using it when I switched to aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

Works well with audio and video accessories

The only complaint I have is that the picture flickers during power surges, e.g. B. in the case of lightning strikes nearby. I hooked it up to a good quality backup battery and computers, TVs and other electronics stay on, but the associated screens flicker each time and then a few seconds of darkness to reset them. Apart from that everything is alright. I tried 3 other brands and sent them all back because they just didn't work or broke completely after a few weeks. It's been 6 weeks and thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Has flaws

The HDMI inputs on the TV are defective. Stay away from these guys!

The device I received was not working. Actually. after turning on. It shorted out my TV's HDMI input motherboard! I restarted my TV, contacted LG support and they confirmed that the HDMI port was overloaded and the chip burned out. I am reconfiguring this product and I am angry at your company for selling such a harmful product. I checked the power supply afterwards and it is dead. Multimeter shows no current. which means it flared up and shorted out itself and my TV! Attached is my TV with aโ€ฆ

  • Questionable Senior Purchase

Works as it should, doesn't seem to get hot.

This splitter is working great so far, even though I only installed it today. I didn't really need the 4k capacity at the moment, but since it costs almost the same as the 1080p version, I thought it wise to buy one just in case I need it later. The DVR for my security cameras only has an HDMI output, so I ran a 25-foot cable to the first TV location and connected the splitter there. I connected a 6 foot cable to output 1 for my first TV and another 25 foot cable to output 2 going to my secondโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The best way to add an HDMI signal to a remote HDTV.

I was powering a remote TV in the kitchen with a coax cable from a DISH HD Receiver. So I had an SD signal (pretty bad) on a 24 inch Vizio TV. During the holidays a friend told me he had a similar setup but with this HDMI 1 x 2 splitter. I bought it on Dec 26th - received it on Dec 29th (!) and installed it with no problems. I used the ONE HDMI output on the DVR as the input for the splitter, then connected output 1 back to my A/V receiver (as before) and output 2 to the remote TV at 35ft. HDMI

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Can't remember

Works perfectly. Two TVs, one source, no problem.

I guess I can say I'm surprised there isn't much foresight when it comes to multiple TVs using the same sources these days. I have three configurations and all three are different, but two have the same problem: two TVs, two rooms and a cable box and a Blu-ray player in one of the rooms. In this last setup, since the TVs are in completely different rooms, I chose to omit the external switch between devices and have each TV control two separate HDMI lines. First I wanted to run a 25ft HDMI cable

Pros
  • Audio & Video Accessories
Cons
  • Disappear

Great HDMI splitter. But CEC stopped working with him.

I got this for a project I was working on where I needed to send a signal to two sources simultaneously. For users looking for a device that allows them to choose which device to send a signal to to continue their search, this is a signal splitter, not a switch. It simultaneously sends a signal to all connected HDMI devices. This is a great device. It will be disabled if you have disabled all sources and only used ports are enabled. It's about the size of a deck of cards, maybe a littleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Splitter
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
