💻 Valve-PCV by KIA Review

This is a PCV valve only and will need to be replaced periodically. Easy to install on my 2017 Kia Soul (5 minutes). It seems to improve the smoothness of acceleration. acceptable price.

Product looks like OEM. The only downside is the delivery. Although delivery times were given in the description, I was hoping to get it sooner. Delivery was over a week. If you need this part within 2-3 days I suggest contacting Autozone or one of the other auto parts suppliers.

Very easy to install - took five minutes. After replacement, the engine began to run more smoothly, mileage increased, oil consumption fell to normal (which is very lean, even at 78k - these engines are tight). The old one was clogged, the air goes very little.

Easy installation after removing the plastic engine cover. The front part must be lifted sharply so that it detaches. I then used a deep socket to remove the old one and install the new one. For some reason the engine seems to be quieter on the freeway. That is possible? Changed at 112,000.

This replacement valve looked exactly like the old one. My auto mechanic wanted over $75 for it! It took me all 15 minutes. Next time it will take 5 minutes now that I know what I'm doing. The YouTube videos really helped. Best with a deep base. I didn't have one and it worked, but it would be easier with a deeper socket.

I'm happy with this part. A little sphere in ticks and bars, just as it should be. A note on removing the old PCV valve. If you don't have a deep sleeve covering the valve nipple, just take a hammer and chisel and knock out the oblong valve. It will then be easier to remove the old hex bolt. The valve is made of plastic. Before installing, be sure to lubricate the new O-ring with some engine oil. Much luck.
