I love these pens. This is my second set and I will probably buy more. My first set was given to my grandmother and she fell in love with it. A few things to know: They're not as smooth as Prismacolor pencils, so they're a little rough when you color them in, but they don't wear out like Prismacolor either. It's a fun idea, but out of 24 crayons only about 8 make interesting color combinations, something like a do-it-yourselfer - knit a strip of wool, den I like. The rest might come in handy if it weren't for the awful scratchy thing: one side of the tri-color neck is nice and soft, but flipping it a third changes color, adding hype. depth, it suddenly scratches the paper because the lead is so hard on that side. A lot of what I like about them I've already mentioned in the review of the set of 12. My previous uses for it: coloring books for stress relief and drawing. Maybe in time I'll try to use them for more serious work. I'd like to see how they work with lightfastness before I do too many serious things with them.
