Mr. Buzzinsky - Education and training

They work reliably and loud enough. We're using it for a classroom game show and the students really love it. Each buzzer runs on 2 AA batteries, but you need a tiny Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment (here's the one I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058ECGN2/ref= oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie =UTF8&psc=1 ). It's interesting to squeeze one when people sit down.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not writable.

Did you come here from a link from a woman who used it to teach her dog to communicate? These are wrong. This is the right seller but the wrong product. Look for "Recordable" in the product name. Otherwise they seem to work as advertised. Everyone has their own buzzer. And they look solid and well made. It just doesn't record.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Fun but noisy in educational electronic toys

I share a room with a teammate who helps children with special needs. Buzzers are great for motivating students, but they are very loud so I can only use them in certain groups. I wish there was a way to turn down the volume because we could use it more often. The colors are bright and kids love the sounds they make. They are strong and well made. I would give it 5 stars except that it only has a very loud sound.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Uncertain

A neat little way to add to your teaching

These are great for teaching if your class isn't too big. I've used them twice, once with a class of 12 and another time with a class of 18. With a smaller class they were ideal as you could see and hear who was speaking and when. With a bigger class it was a bit crazier and hard to hear sounds but still good fun. If they had flashlights (and I mistakenly thought they did) they would be perfect, but they're still worth the money.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Has flaws

I am a coach and bought this product for a test game with trainees. When I received the product, the blue buzzer never worked right out of the box, it was dead! The other three work perfectly. These aren't expensive buzzers, I knew when I bought them I wasn't expecting them to be great, but at least I expected them all to work! Not impressed with this product quality control. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Good but not perfect

Good for engaging students

I used these in the lab portion of a college course I teach during our review sessions. They worked great for this, my only major complaint is that the two buzzers make very similar sounds and when pressed at the same time it's hard to tell which came first. I didn't really care since I had 3 commands so I didn't need to use them all but I saw that this could potentially be a problem. Also, it's a great way to include a gaming aspect in a review session. I'm not sure how much this helped with…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Damaged

Perfect for games! in learning and education

I love these. I raise young people and use them in dangerous games that I devised to help them learn. story time! One of the buzzers makes a ding-dong doorbell noise. While playing Jeopardy, I asked each group to choose their buzzer and name their teams. I forgot to ask them who has which buzzer, so after a question I heard a ding-dong and asked who had it. I had a young man jump up, raise his hand and exclaim, "USA! We are ding-dongs!" Those buzzers were worth the money I paid just for that…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only
