Very good quality for video cassettes!

Although I currently use blank DVD discs to burn video content (whether it's from TV or PC), I bought them and used them to transfer some programs from the TV to my DVD/VHS combo to burn. With VHS tapes, these "before" recordings seem appropriate for "high quality" recordings. My results were very clean. Based on that, I give it 5 stars!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Very good camera and photo

These were very high quality tapes. I had no problems with her work; They received my Christmas films very well. Maxell is a very good brand; although the ribbon boxes were different than shown in the picture. This is the first time this has happened to me since becoming a Revain customer.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not sure

The VHS tapes are really new and work great!

No problem with these VHS tapes - VERY glad I can still get them through Revain as I prefer to record on my VCR than any other way! Many of us think so; We just don't tend to advertise it!

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Clean

High quality VHS tapes for VHS

My mother still uses a VHS player so we bought her a new player with a pack of these tapes. She likes how clear the picture is on these tapes. We bought 2 more packs so she can record TV shows during the day and only watch them in the evening. Quality tapes that we will continue to buy.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

Super Electronics suitable for VHS

This article has unfortunately been discontinued. The tapes worked without any problems. My VCR is many years old, so more tapes are needed. Yes, DVD players exist, but the writable ones were expensive and difficult to use and maintain, let alone figure out if they were + or - and r/w.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Only available in white

Very good quality for video cassettes!

Although I currently use blank DVDs to capture video content (whether from TV or PC), I have purchased and used them to record some of my programming DVD/VHS combos record the TV. For VHS tapes, these "brands" appear to be good for "high quality" recording. My results were very clean. Based on that, I give it 5 stars!

Pros
  • Maintains integrity over time
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Yes; VHS is still a "must have " for some

Although it's getting harder and harder to find a cassette, I still use a VCR (part of the DVD.VCR combo.) for performances to record. It's quick, easy, and the tape can be used countless times with no loss of quality as long as you use quality tape. This is where Maxell comes in. I've been using Maxell VHS tapes for many, many years and have had no problems. And because of the relatively low additional costs, I have always opted for high grade or better tape. I can't count the number of times…

Pros
  • Low noise for better sound quality
Cons
  • Expensive
