    Will not fit all 97+ Miata tombstones

    Just wanted to provide some clarity for anyone looking to purchase this for their NA Miata. . This kit will only work if you have 97 tombstones that did not come with an optional factory CD player. Newer NA Miatas came with center console NA75-55-210A-00 (same as 94-96.5) if the car was equipped with a CD player. This means that for someone like me who has a 97M edition with a factory CD player, this kit will NOT fit because my tombstone has a small noise hole. In the end I had to buy a…

    Minor blemish but otherwise solid

    This kit includes BOTH single and double din adapters. For my 02 Miata they snap into place to provide a very snug fit - they rightly warn that they cannot be removed without disassembling the dash! So get it right the first time! My Pioneer 2300NEX is supported very solidly by the front panel - even without the rear support screw which Metra includes if your stereo has that option. the face to be removed for full face touchscreen head units.     Could be better but works great

    Purchased to fit a Pioneer double din receiver in my 1999 Mazda Protege. The fit wasn't precise but still snug enough to be satisfied. Having to cut the latch out of the double DIN bezel ourselves is a bit annoying, but I got it clean with a wet razor blade. The mounting system itself is a bit flimsy and I couldn't support the back of my main unit because it didn't really have room to screw on the black thing they provided.     Great for the price arrived half broken

    it happened to another buyer it happened to me. It arrived in a box that only contained one parcel (no airbags like some people do) and when I grabbed it you could just feel it bouncing around freely so the packaging will prevent these items from breaking if done correctly becomes. but one of the four tabs surrounding it is broken but i hate returning things so i made this work.     I recently upgraded the stereo head unit in my 2004 Mazda mx-5 Miata. The new stereo system has a 6.2 inch touch screen and is suitable for double DIN hole.
