ADC is by far the best manual cuff for durability and accuracy.

I use manual blood pressure cuffs a lot. I prefer them to electronic cuffs. Before buying this one, I had went through several in a relatively short time. The dial is always breaking on the cheap ones. I eventually paid a little more for the ADC one and it is immensely better than the cheaper cuffs. It has been very durable and accurate. I got it in "theft deterrant" orange. I have used it a lot in a long term care facility. To me I can take a BP with a manual as fast as I can with the…

Pros
  • Sphygmomanometers
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable for people with sensitive skin

Non-Standard Color: my feedback

I am building my nursing kit and loved this because it was not the standard black color. ADC is a great company so I wasn't worried about the quality (which is spot on btw) but it was better that I could get such a great color (so my things are easier to discern from someone else's) and that the color received was accurate to the photo shown. Definitely will recommend!

Pros
  • I needed a replacement cuff and this is exactly what I wanted
Cons
  • Color is wrong, it is more blue than purple. I do not recommend the purple. I will not be using this.

Perfect - loves the color

My daughter is a Registered nurse for a hospital. We gave this to her and she loves it. She really like the color as said it was perfect. Thanks

Pros
  • The device has been clinically tested and validated, offering peace of mind to users
Cons
  • The manual pumping can lead to variable results

Tiny (child) arm dimensions. Size up.

It’s tiny. I’m sure I should give it a 5 star because apparently I can’t read dimension sizes, but this thing is tiny! My arms are not large and it barely fits around them - barely. As soon as I pump it up, the Velcro detaches. It fits my 9 year old. I’m sure adults have small arms like this but this is an adult small? For real? I’d go a size up or 2.

Pros
  • Professional Medical Supplies
Cons
  • Difficult to use for people with arthritis or joint pain

Perfect for the nurse

I ordered this as a gift for my sister in law who's in nursing school. It's perfect for her schooling and should last her for years to come when she begins work in the real world.

Pros
  • The cuff is also adjustable, making it suitable for a wide range of arm sizes
Cons
  • The cuff may leave a mark on the skin

Do Not Buy This Product.

I was expecting a superior ADC product this product 4 months ago. The first clients bp that I took was 186/100, which really surprised me, but she is unhealthy so I assumed it was right and didn't question it and even contacted her doctor. Now that I have used this product multiple times as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist I noticed that everyones bp was consistently extremely high so I decided to cross reference it and sure enough it is completely off. I am embarrassed that I have been telling

Pros
  • Excelente
Cons
  • May require a second person to use properly

Color was perfectly teal, which is so hard to find normally. I have classmates asking where I purchased so they can get their own. Accurate readings and made from sturdy yet comfortable materials! I even came back and purchased an ADC stethoscope to match!

Pros
  • Works fine. Love purple.
Cons
  • Not as durable as some other blood pressure monitors

Great unit! - my new review

Ordered this for my nursing clinicals and LOVE it! The color stands out (purple is my school color) and makes it easy to spot mine (it frequently gets borrowed). Tested it against my instructor's more expensive unit and this one was calibrated perfectly.

Pros
  • Very nice for rough use and good to have if you are worried about getting your instruments stolen.
Cons
  • Prone to user error if not used correctly

Weird Color in my review

When I purchased this item I thought it was going to be that nice dark purple color that it is in the picture. unfortunately it is a much lighter color. I was disappointed but I didn't see the point in returning it considering it works fine.

Pros
  • Adcuff nylon cuff with ADC’s proprietary Size Guide marking system, prevents miscuffing.
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with certain medical conditions

Works Well on my review.

I purchased this product as I am in nursing school and wanted to practice taking vitals. It does what it is supposed to, looks nice, and is easy to use. I would purchase this one again and I would recommend this brand to anyone who was looking.

Pros
  • excelente....
Cons
  • Large and bulky, making it inconvenient to carry around

correction: It will NOT do

I bought this as a backup. I have a 50 yr. old sphyg. that has remained accurate and shows no sign of wear to this day. The product was made in Canada and England and distributed in the U.S.A. I don't where the unit I just bought from Revain was made, but the materials appear cheap and inferior in comparision. The bulb, tubing, and cuff are no where near the quality of my old unit. The case has a tag saying, "Indonesia". My guess is the rest of the product probably shares that origin. As a…

Cons

AWESOME BP CUFF! in my review

I'm an EMT and go through BP cuffs like nothing. This is the longest BP cuff I've had in my possession(3 months) that hasn't broken. All other BP cuffs I've had have either blown up, or the air bladder has come out of the cuff. GREAT Definitely would buy again!

Pros
  • The sphygmomanometer is easy to clean and sanitize, making it perfect for use in clinical environments
Cons
  • May not be as consistent as other blood pressure monitors

I'm not a nurse or a doctor! How about some help here?!

I just got this today. Product might be fine but directions are terrible. 1) I should have been told I needed to purchase a stethoscope, 2) 'place over the brachial artery' but no diagram where that is, 3) 'place above the antecubital fold' but no diagram where that is, 4) 'close value by turning thumbscrew' but no diagram where thumbscrew is, 5) 'palpate the radial artery' - what? and where is radial artery?, 6) 'inflate cuff 20-30 mmHg above point at which radial pulse disappears' - I have no

Pros
  • happy CUSTOMER
Cons
  • Harder to read than digital blood pressure monitors

The knob sometimes gets stuck when you close the pump, you have to really adjust the knob slowly when you're releasing the air to get the blood pressure. Other than that, item is great.

Pros
  • The Navy ADC Prosphyg 760 is accurate and precise, providing users with reliable blood pressure readings every time
Cons
  • The cuff may be difficult to clean properly

Works great on my review.

It's nice, but I order the adult small after reading some of the reviews how people claimed it "fits most adults" which is BS. I had to reorder another cuff but besides that, it's fine

Pros
  • The Navy ADC Prosphyg 760 is highly accurate, offering precise readings of blood pressure
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with anxiety disorders

Works Great in my review

This cuff is pretty standard it works great and fits well in it's case. I chose it due to the color being not so typical where I work out, so I can spot it having run off with someone else. It does the job. I've had no issues with it being calibrated.

Pros
  • Used back when I was a medical assistant, accurate and I loved the pink color!
Cons
  • No vinieron en el color seleccionado , pero funcionan muy bien.

Pretty good for the price

I think this cuff is pretty good for the price. It came calibrated (got it from Revain just to be in on the safe side) but one thing that's kind of annoying about it is the screw/knob that lets air out. It can stick a little at either end (all the way open or all the way closed) so when letting air out you may let out too much, too fast trying to get it going and have to pump back up to hear the Korotkoff sounds more accurately but that's pretty much something I've adapted to so it's not a big…

Pros
  • great product! currently studying to become a CNA and it’s a great practice tool
Cons
  • It doesn’t work properly

Cannot tighten on your own arm

There is NO Ability to tighten this on your own arm. No metal bar (D-Ring) to hold in place on arm - doesn't hold the two ends together.

Pros
  • Excellent product
Cons
  • May require calibration

Better than Prestige

I had the same Prestige Medical cuff forever. When it's Velcro gave up I ordered another of the updated version and it was just junk, air bladder was leaking in two weeks. I got this to try and six months in it's working just fine.

Pros
  • I totally love to use it every day at my work.
Cons
  • Received the wrong color :(

Accurate, proven technology, gorgeous green color

I like the latest health gizmos but am skeptical of them. If you want to know your true blood pressure, I'd skip the convenience of a finger or wrist sphygmomanometer and opt for the proven technology of a cuff such as this beautiful green one, which looks better in real life than the pictures suggest. My only complaint is that it has two tubes leading to the bulb and gauge. Decades ago, just before I entered medical school, I purchased a sphygmomanometer with an integrated bulb and gauge, which

Pros
  • Love this cuff great color option great price and great quality. Nice and easy to read
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with poor eyesight
