, just a few months later the Blu-ray reader stopped working. this is by far the most expensive piece of hardware i have ever bought and it sucks (sorry but it's true) in my opinion (and according to the product description) this player will be the only player i need for all my media : blu -ray, cos, dvd, pockets of all regions, player.and nothing like that! I'm sorry folks, but unfortunately this "upscale" product is terrible! Today I used it as a CD player. That's it and I bought the cheapest

It really was a hit

because everything everyone says about it being slow is true. It's similar to an early dial-up Pentium, but for the internet everything works fine once connected and then connected to a service. If you don't mind waiting. There are also very few apps available. I have Netflix, two Vudus and some other movies you have to pay for. Not sure if anything other than Netflix and Vudu is really worth it with all the US censorship and all. Otherwise it looks great and has worked flawlessly so far…

Pros
  • Blu-ray player
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the other options

Dear THX audio engine.

There are plenty of ports on the back for everything you need to connect it to which is one of the reasons I bought it. The Blue Ray picture is amazingly surreal and the THX sound is incredible. The difference is audible even with standard DVDs. I think the player needs to be updated e.g. B. the title/track list on the front display and the ability to turn off the icons on screen when the play/pause button is pressed etc., unless there's a way to do it it doesn't come up. on the screen? Am I…
