It works at first, but it will definitely break again. Everyone broke down within hours of being instilled, mostly because they didn't come up with new clips. Luckily I have some laying around.

It would be great if glass hole clips were included. I had to disassemble the door three times until all the parts arrived, having ordered all the elements individually.

Excellent product took a few hours most of the time to prep the door. Installation was easy for me, YouTube videos will help you. ***Please note that if you need to roll up the window during the installation process, be sure to disconnect the battery before unplugging and plugging the airbag connectors back in.

It was easy to install. The only thing that bothers me is that it's a bit louder than the OEM when running. Otherwise perfect fit and serves its purpose. My previous regulator's cable broke right where the cable meets the tip. The plastic clip holding the window was also torn, so be sure to buy the one with the adjuster.

I bought this for my 2003 BMW X5 (E53). Great fit. Used original windscreen. Make sure you have the piece of plastic that connects the controller to the screw in the door. It is plastic and will become brittle over time like other plastic parts that will break on an OLD regulator. This small piece of plastic, if not already broken when you check the inside of the door, if not replaced, will most likely remain in place during or after the installation of a new regulator.

I may have been spoiled by GMC, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, VW, Honda, etc. I just don't expect such a glitch to be so predictably necessary. The X5's front glass went down and wouldn't go up, found that the original flimsy clips were broken. So when the rear window went down and wouldn't go up, I bought thin replacement mounting clips for it and upon disassembly found that OTHER thin, brittle plastic parts included in this regulator assembly were broken, causing the cable to break internally . UPDATED: My (original, factory) passenger side power window broke 4 months after the driver side broke. I bought another A-Premium ESC, but this time for the passenger side. Another perfect fit with no issues. Keep in mind that if you replace one side, you will probably soon be replacing the other side as well.
