Worked great.

I bought these to fix the armoir drawer which my wife loves. The original slide would no longer allow the drawer to open. I bought a pair locally but they were 1/2" wide. They were too wide and the drawer didn't fit back into the piece of furniture. I know, I know. I measured more accurately, but I didn't. So I bought this pair they were correct 3/8 they fit perfectly they work great now the obvious this is a 3/4 lengthening I was about to go into enforcement but like I said they didn't fit it…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Heavy Duty Slides - Slim profile

I used these to replace a keyboard slide that fell apart after a year of use (abuse) by my kids. Gliding is smooth and the slides feel solid and well built. The slides come without instructions, but you can download the basic slide layout from the Shop Fox website (search by model number). Although not mentioned on this website, each slide is 3/8" deep. If necessary, dial the depth of the slide so that the lateral fit is slightly loose - I used cardboard packing shims to ensure a proper fit…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great - be sure to measure carefully before ordering!

Choosing the right size is key to drawer slide purchases! Dimensions (overall length when closed, height - top/bottom and width - the distance between the drawer side and the opening) are very important. In particular, the width is too thin and the slide will not properly "fill" the opening between the drawer and the base; too thick and doesn't fit. The thickness should be the same as the hole; actually a little less to create some "play" between the drawer and the wall unit. Not understanding…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
