This shorts fit a little too loose for me that even with tightening the straps, they still fit a little big. If I would order from this brand again, I would size down for comfort and safety. *UPDATE*: Husband still says these are his Fav Shorts - HOWEVER: There's velcro on the both sides of the waist, with a tab of material that attaches to adjust the fit. These are now in my rotation of outdoor shorts. These are lightweight and fit great. I like the pockets and like the feel. I use these at least once a week when I'm doing stuff outside or around the house.

These are perfect for water parks and/or tubing. We would have to carry a bag or rent a locker for our truck keys. Now, we just zip them into his pocket. I really don't know how you can say these are waterproof shorts. The fabric does seem to have some water repellent properties, but they do seem to suck up some water which dried quickly.
