The best spring compressor!

I like that the tool compacts when compressed. Unlike others, this screw comes out farther. It has helped me get my job done MUCH faster.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Something to add

Great product for motorcycle springs!

I used these to service the shock on my cbr1100xx. They work great! Just the right size for motorcycle springs. Tip: Take them apart and fully lubricate the threaded bolts for best performance.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Only available in white

Work Great - Suspension tools

We have many spring compressors in our workshop including large professional wall mount tools. For the last four jobs I used them directly. They fit into tight spaces and work very well. I was a bit hesitant at first to really push them, but they are very good quality. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a good product at a great price.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Very expensive

Yes, it works on a motorcycle!

I have spent hours comparing every coil spring compressor I could find that would work with a spring on a modern motorcycle rear suspension shock absorber. It's larger than those advertised as "motorcycle/quad" but it just fits and works very well. I cleaned the transit oil off the four threaded parts (long drive pin and spring seat threads) on each tool and lightly lubricated them with red bearing grease. No instructions are included, but use your common sense and safety mindset to guide youโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • No insurance

Like Shakly Spring Compressor for half the price!

This is a great spring compressor which I stumbled across after receiving the wrong item after ordering a Shakly brand compressor. I bought them and they arrived the next day! Used on Rav4 A-pillars and will be used next week to install heavier Eibach springs on my new 2022 4-Runner TDR Pro suspension to give it more lift. Having used them on our Rav4 I am fully confident that these compressors will get the job done as a 4 runner. I disassembled them as soon as I received them and coated theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • No paint required

Works great on motorcycle shock absorbers.

They are very heavy and have worked excellently for compressing the springs on two different motorcycle shock absorbers; 2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200 and 2007 Hayabusa. These springs have very little space between coils for clamps, but this tool did the job. I taped the contact points on the springs and they did not damage the surface of the new springs. They're a bit awkward to work with if you don't have anything to hold the damper itself. It is helpful to have two people attach and hold themโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine
