Bought to replace wired equipment that is 17 years old. 4 stars for base feel of units; not necessarily cheap, but just a bit "plastic". I doubt they will last 17 years but they work great and are connected to a Win 10 system at our POS. You can't ask for more for a device under $30. Shipping and seller were great, so first win-win.

Maybe I'm a bit snobbish, but I prefer hard media (DVD and Blu-Ray) to digital media, but I like reliability and I'm not at my best and spoilage dependent on the whims of a content provider. So I have a big collection. and terrible memory. so I needed a database; and what better tool to input all that data than a wireless barcode scanner? Installation is a driverless breeze, turning days or weeks of manual input into a job that took just a few hours. It's lightweight and easy to use.

didn't help much with the installation and setup but mine worked pretty basic. only gave it 3 stars because the scanner works well once you get used to it, but it wasn't as helpful as I was hoping. I have several collections that I want to catalog and I bought this device to be able to read and write UPC codes. In that sense, figuring out what to do works well. First, you need to keep the code booklet that came with the device. These codes tell the device what to do. The device is paired with a computer via Bluetooth.
