🚗 YUESONIC 102dB Reversing Alarm with Wire Connection for Vehicles - Enhanced White Noise Backup Alert Review

If I had to do it again I would choose a better option. It works as it's supposed to, but really needs to be twice as loud to be really effective.

Installed the first one and Beep Beep all twitted. Sent it back and got another one. This time I tested it first before installing, same distorted beep beep.

So far so good for a mini digger or skid steer loader, tried fitting it onto a Volvo ER 235E and you hardly heard it. Spend a lot of money and buy a good device for large devices

The units are small and I could hear it about 110 feet away in a busy camp lot while other trucks and cranes drove around. Although I wish it was louder. I installed these blocks in the rearmost crossmember and above the taillights of a 2016 Cascadia Cargoliner chassis and wired the reverse lights.

I haven't set an alarm yet, but Yuesonic is one of the few manufacturers of this product. ordered. So Revain Prime didn't deliver as promised and I had to buy another alarm clock in the meantime.

I like the sound. A small load that is good. Worked great for a dozen uses, but now it only works when it wants to. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't make any sound. Probably a bad device as I checked the power supply to the device and it said 12-14 volts DC. There is a small audible pop when quickly unplugging and plugging the device in, but that's about it. Seems like not using the device for a period of time will reset it or something and it will start working again until it stops…

I haven't installed it yet because the written instructions say it should be installed 4 feet off the ground. On a big truck it would be easy, but on my big Lincoln Town Car sedan it would be on top of the trunk or on the roof. It's a big, solid unit, but I can't see a good place to mount it other than in the trunk or under the rear bumper a foot off the ground, neither of which are likely loud enough. I'll do a rough test, but I think I need to reset it and get a much smaller backup beep…

I'm putting this on my SUV because I have a Jazzie transport ramp. It's like people want you to come back to them. They see you retreating, but continue to stand in your way even when they approach you from a distance. Now this backup alarm is catching people's attention. It's a different sound, so look to see what it is and where it's coming from. Once they are right behind the car it gets very noisy. It doesn't spread the noise everywhere like in front of a car.
