Not for outdoor use

The locks themselves are strong and beautiful and work well. But I used it for our outdoor shed and electrical fuse box. The barn will rust in a few days, and while it can still be used, it's almost impossible to close again. Luckily the opening is fine. The fuse box lasted longer because it wasn't exposed to lawn sprinklers (I guess), but even that rusted after about a year. In general, they are NOT suitable for outdoor use. What sucks: 1. I don't know why it says "7 total" but it's 2 packs…

No rust. Temporary

These two locks have been on our two open sheds for 6 months now and they look and work like new. The barns are not covered, so the locks are absolutely weatherproof and do not cause any problems. We've marked the lock body and key with a 'brown canopy' so it's great to have one key for both and not have to worry about which lock goes where. I would 100% buy them again. Love that the master lock makes them multiples of locks with the same keys - very handy. We have 2 packs for canopies, 4 packs

Poor internal locking mechanism

As mentioned in various other reviews these locks look good but are very mediocre quality. I've been using them for about 2 weeks now and almost every time it rains I have to use one of the many different aerosol lubes I need to unlock these darn things and it's going to require a significant amount of key wiggling . clamp to open. Big twist, the key padlocks have been my trusty outdoor lock for life. Nothing like this had ever happened before. The packaging says they're for both indoor and…

Great for rifle cases

Most of my rifle cases are SKB i series cases and these logs are perfect for rifle cases. They are bright gold in color so they stand out slightly against the black body of the rifle and are easy to see. I live in California where guns must be unloaded in a locked compartment during transit. The contrast locks just make them easier for the cops to spot if I'm pulled over or something. The locks are strong enough that you don't have to fumble to open them. I don't know about you, but I use these
