Review on High Performance Blockchain by Robiul Islam

Combining hardware with software for ultimate speed and stability.

It is proud that software and hardware acceleration coordinates that are designed specifically in conjunction with each other, their transaction speeds START at 1 million TPS. This is not their max, it is their starting speed. For example Neo currently boasts 1000 TPS, but claims it can go up to 10,000 TPS if needed. I think it’s a solid project, it is better in the following areas:
  • It's not just software, it's hardware. Future Scalability is a lot easier for it because hardware advancement software is faster than progress, meaning in future, It is likely more scalable that EOS. It's like pushing yourself to get a few million transactions in EOS, but it will just keep getting faster over time when either its software or hardware has a new version, because progress on either sides adds exponentially on the overall speed.
  • It is compatible with both Ethereum and Neo virtual machine. It is the first project to be implemented on the NEO virtual machine. So this is not a serious rivalry due to the unusual speed of the platform, it is already a partner for NEO and a serious potential partner for Ether.
  • It aims to understand the performance extension of the distributed app. The position as an easy to use platform associated with industry depth to meet real business needs.

High Performance Blockchain is one of the most innovative projects in the crypto space. They have the downside and risk of integrating software with accelerated hardware to significantly improve accessibility and speed of data transfer and access, as their roadmap lacks incomplete details and information, and of course with regulatory risks, which every Chinese company in the space faces. Although these risks could turn into opportunities in the future, investors should be aware of what could happen.

    Pros
    • Software and hardware that are used in high performance blockchains are very interesting attractive. The copying hardware on "Open Source" hardware to respectable competitors is possible to copy the hardware, but the HPB team has done a great job that keeps the software side things on the hardware side. The hardware will not perform without utilizing the HPB platform, making the HPB platform essential to the operation of the hardware.
    • HPB founder is very experienced in the field of such projects. Previous experience with Companies like Huawei, Unipay and Inspur Is very captivating. The Advisory Board Features Members Such as Zongru Wan and Kai Long. very solid team & advisory Board.
    • Scaling is one of the key stumbling blocks to mainstream blockchain adoption. Using its hardware acceleration chips, Will be able to scale the platform to 1,000,000 high transactions per second and process with a three second confirmation time. There are numerous applications that can take advantage of this speed. From IOT apps to in app purchases in video games, there are numerous use cases that can be run with developers.
    • The rivals are going to find it hard to compare it quickly. High performance blockchains are creating a platform that is not easily copied because of the expansion of the ones they are developing and the technology they are using. The competitors will be down the road but HPB has stepped up here.
    Cons
    • The website doesn’t really have a huge amount of information available on the homepage. It’d be great to see the website updated with more information, Especially some information pointing out the differences that they offer over other platforms.
    • Both a homepage and a whitepaper are available in a roadmap. Unfortunately, do not show a detailed set of milestones among these.
