Review on Enhanced Productivity: HumanCentric Portable Monitor Consoles with Magnetic Built-In Speakers and IPS - Model 301-1023 by John Worlds

Great portable monitor with a few flaws

I've been using the same portable monitor for years. It was very comfortable but definitely showed its age - a poor monitor with low resolution and faded colors. I decided to give it a try and was happy to see how far these portable monitors have come. At first I was blown away by how thin and light this product is. The screen size is 15.6 inches, so the whole monitor is quite large, but it is also very portable and easy to carry around. It comes with a magnet case with terrible magnets that are very weak. The case is actually a big disadvantage for me; it hardly sticks to the monitor and always falls off. It also offers a few different viewing angles, but overall the leather case is lackluster. It also doesn't have VESA compatible holes on the back, but that's to be expected since this product is designed for mobile use. Picture quality is excellent and there are a number of different settings to adjust the picture. /Colours. I honestly haven't played around with it much because I found the default settings to be pretty good. It also has some built-in speakers, which are okay but better than nothing. The monitor is more than adequate for most tasks, whether it's for work or if you want to play Switch. Its launch and launch was also a little confusing. Luckily the instructions are very helpful with lots of diagrams to help you use it with a variety of items. There are many different types of setups and it's not that easy to just connect 1 USB-C cable. Sometimes you need to connect 2 to provide enough power. Sometimes you need to use a faster port. Sometimes you need to use a special cable. Like I said, it wasn't as easy as I wanted, but after some experimentation, I was able to get it to work on all my devices (Windows laptop, Mac desktop, and Nintendo Switch). Another disadvantage. that it uses Micro-HDMI. I wish it only used the full size HDMI port so I didn't have to use a special cable, adapter or anything. It's a little annoying, but it's no big deal. All in all, this is a great monitor. Image quality is excellent and after some trial and error it works as expected. If you're looking for a second monitor that offers excellent portability, then this is a great option.
