Great monitor, stuck pixels scared me

I am very happy with this purchase. I think in terms of improving my computing experience, this is one of the best things I've ever bought. When it comes to computer components and peripherals, I'm personally far more interested in the best quality than the very best. The combination of price, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, FreeSync support and 1ms response time makes this monitor one of the best, if not the best, out there. The hundreds of dollars difference between these features on a TN monitor and these features on an IPS monitor just isn't worth it in my opinion, and G-Sync isn't worth the cost increase over FreeSync. I cannot comment on the durability of this item but I have no doubt that as long as it lasts I will be happy to use it. I wasn't a fan of the red and orange bezel, but as soon as you turn on your computer you hardly notice it. The stand is quite modest, but serves its purpose adequately, I didn't notice any wobbling. The package included an HDMI cable, a DVI cable and a Displayport cable - which was handy as I wasn't sure if they would be included and it was nice not having to run to the store to get the cables yourself pick up. As for stuck pixels, I haven't upgraded my monitors in a long time and when I first turned it on I was amazed at how nice the picture looked. I started looking for wallpaper and pulled out black, and then I noticed that there were a few dozen pixels stuck on top of green all along the left side of the screen. Having never experienced this before, I was appalled that this monitor was a lemon. After reading a bit, I found that these "stuck pixels" were easy to fix myself - all I had to do was open a full-screen Youtube video showing green, red, and blue images flashed in rapid succession. After a few minutes of flashing images, I returned to the image where I saw this issue and the stuck pixels were gone. Since then I do not have problems anymore. So if you have the same problem: don't panic! Just search "fix stuck pixels" on Youtube, set it to full screen and make sure the flashing image covers the entire screen (if not, open another video suitable for a 2560x1440 screen) . Since it was so easy to fix and I'm not sure how common this problem is, it doesn't seem to merit a star, but it really threw me off for a moment when I thought my monitor was broken. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking to purchase this product and has a good graphics card (AMD) to take advantage of the high refresh rate, FreeSync and other features it has to offer.
