Update rating from Disappointing to Garbage. I bought two of these for my kids' laptops. It uses the old USB Micro-B connection you've seen on an old Samsung phone. The included cable is less than 2 feet long. I'm not thrilled and wouldn't buy one again. If you connect more than three USB devices to the hub, it turns off. What good is a 7-port hub if you can't just use a few devices at a time. This hub does NOT come with an external power supply. Chinese shit!

I was immediately suspicious when I saw the word "ports" on the packaging. My suspicions were confirmed when the USB hub was not recognized by the computer within 24 hours of first plugging it in. Additionally, despite the fact that the hub has a power connector, neither a power adapter nor documentation on how to connect it (e.g. voltage, polarity) was included in the kit. , etc.). I like the design except for 1 thing. It's nice that the cables connect at an angle from the front, works great on a desk. DESIRE I can't give zero stars. This is absolute rubbish.
