Good product. Easy to calibrate

Excellent product. Just calibrated. The probe was broken when I first bought it. But I received the second block and there were no problems with the calibration. The calibration liquid should be provided in vials or other containers to facilitate sensor immersion. I used (heavy and strong) plastic cups to pack the calibration bags. Do not discard the liquid as you risk contaminating the solution. Stays in the pan for continuous PH monitoring.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Accurate and reliable

Have been using it for many years. Outstandingly reliable and accurate. The time for building trust is over. Use API PH Test and Seachem PH Alert for months with Pinpoint Monitor. It always reads/tracks accurately. A pair of 9 volt batteries and bottles of Ph 7 and Ph 4 calibration fluids make for a quality calibration fluid. One thing I noticed when calibrating the monitor seems to be easier and faster with PH 7 PH 4. It lasted longer when used with PH 10 liquid.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not worth the price.

Not worth the money. Once calibrated, this pH monitor works well enough for the next use, but spot accuracy (within manufacturer specifications) requires calibration before each use. I think this pH monitor is best suited for use in an aquarium, pool, hydroponics or any situation where you need to constantly monitor the pH without removing the probe from the liquid. It doesn't work as well as an instrument used to measure the pH of different liquids by dipping the probe into each liquid, as it…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • No paint needed
