EXCELLENT modem with a speed of 300 Mbps.

Update August 19, 2019: The modem is still working AND Spectrum has automatically upgraded our 300Mbps service to 400Mbps and even though this modem is not on the approved list I am blowing up now with 450 Mbit/s! So far this modem works great. We have 100/10 internet, and while I've always been happy with the performance of the included cable modem, I couldn't stand the horrible wireless router that came with it. I have a separate WAP, but the router itself falls apart with every PtP load over

Works well with Comcast Xfinity Internet, UPDATED

I switched from Internet to Comcast Xfinity and decided to buy my own cable modem to save $10/month on rent. I had originally considered an all-in-one router option, but decided it would be in my best interest to buy a separate router and cable modem. The issues I've found after doing the research are that many all-in-ones have wireless connection degradation issues over time and are expensive to replace. The biggest problem is that the cable modem firmware is not under the control of the endโ€ฆ

I recently switched providers and bought this modem to save on Comcast monthly rent. I'm moving from 13Mbps DSL to 150Mbps cable so I was very excited. However, the installer said he couldn't register the modem because it was either too new or defective. He said to return it and he would install a Comcast modem to get me working. Of course I agreed so that I could activate my service. Unfortunately, I immediately started having problems. The speed with the Comcast modem was great, but it keptโ€ฆ

I had a Motorola DOCSIS 3.0 modem that started failing about a month ago, so I looked around and found that reviews of most modems are pretty mixed. Some got hot, others broke right out of warranty, but overall they all scored about 75% 5-star ratings, so I figured they were relative. Having been so lucky to replace my wireless router with an ASUS router, I decided to go with this one and it has worked so far. I called Spectrum and everything was ready in 30 minutes (20 of them on standby). Itโ€ฆ

My current downlink is at the maximum level that my ISP allows.

My old modem limited my speed to just over 100Mbps so I bought this to increase my bandwidth/download. My current downstream practically corresponds to the maximum resolution of my ISP (currently approx. 240Mbps). Installation: I had no problems installing it, but I also installed it with a new router, so I still had to do some additional setup. I unplugged my old modem, installed it with my existing coax cable, and connected it to my new router. Usage: I've been using it for about 4 months and

Comcast business customers, this is for you:

I bought this modem as a pair to work with an ASUS ROG router for home and office. My internet service through Comcast is their business package and it's time to upgrade my hardware. I set up new hardware and contacted Comcast Business Customer Support for assistance setting it up for use with my account. Despite what it says on the box and in the description, this device is not compatible with Comcast Business Internet Service, only XFinity. If you have Comcast Business Internet Serviceโ€ฆ

A once decent modem has become a nightmare.

I bought this modem more than a year and a half ago, everything seemed fine. And then I started noticing some issues and I was having constant crashes, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. And then it seemed to get better. My speeds were fine and I didn't have any major connection issues. Fast forward to last month and let me tell you it's been nothing short of a nightmare. Departures are insanely frequent. I struggle to stay connected for 20 minutes most days. I really can't figure out why. That'sโ€ฆ
