Average purchase, there are some things to complain about.

As a switcher between different video sources (for which I actually bought it), the device fully justifies the purchase. I did not assign any other tasks to him and I do not advise you. If you need to switch in a small room between a playstation, a TV with HDMI ARC, some other source, and also for the device to make some kind of sound from YouTube and be very cheap, then the device is VERY SUITABLE. There will be no disappointment. But words, music or cinema will have to be crossed out from the

    Pros
    • The device has all modern 4K switching on board. I have not tried 8K yet, there is no curling iron, no TV set for 8k. Good news: the device made friends with LG OLED65B9P without any problems via HDMI CEC. Sound volume and on-off can be controlled by the TV remote control. With a little digging into the settings (well, about an hour), you can make the receiver play from the TV not Stereo, but something like multichannel via ARC. On it actually all integration ended.
    Cons
    • The Bad News: All the money in the price tag went to switching chips. There is nothing else in this device. The sound is very bad. Movies are not fun to watch. It is better not to listen to music, this device was not designed for such a low price tag. The case is tin, plastic is cheap. The connectors are gold-plated, this is not about this device. The remote control is cheap, there is nothing in the kit except the device, remote control, and batteries. Well, the calibration microphone was reported, but something tells me that it would be better not to put it down.

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

The receiver is good. The price in December 2022 was 69900 and I bought it. It is now 284000. The price has increased by 400%. Sellers have raised prices. removed price dynamics to make money. So that people do not see how much they are being deceived. Don't buy anything. Let go bankrupt.

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

For movies in DD, DTS, etc. it will do fine, it decodes confidently, but if stereo or even mix stereo in 5.1, then the sound is disgusting. Loses BW Zeppelin and the old Yamaha 5.1 by an order of magnitude, but switching for all occasions (only an extra overpayment). Listened to FLAC and streamed Spotify from HEOS, not really. Of course, recordings in DTS and DD are better, but as they wrote right there, there is a feeling that all the money was spent on switching. And you can not even write…

I'm happy with it, the price and the quality, I recommend to buy it.

I bought this unit, partly because of the small depth, I wanted some compactness. There is no huge depth here, which was a plus in a compact room. I was pleased with the adequate work on hdmi cec. On my TV, hdmi cec works well, everything turns off and on as I would like. In general, the device was bought for voice acting, which is really a sin to hide, a TV set. Even in multichannel. While the apartment was being renovated, I took it to the dacha, where I tested it. So, the sound level in the…

    • A modern technological device, has on board, at the moment, all modern methods of listening. Atmos, all possible signal switching.
    Cons
    • Musicality was not delivered. When listening to music, I was not surprised by anything. It's possible, though, that's the way it should be.

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

Hi all. I bought this AV Denon AVR-X2700H receiver for an online prepaid trade. Very good solid design. I've only been using it for a few days. An excellent device for the unpretentious user. I use duna Ultra 2 as a source. I was pleased with the simple installation and setup of the receiver. Well suited to the TV. I recommend it as one of the best receivers at the moment in the price category up to 100,000. And the delivery was within the stipulated time.

    Pros
    • In this price segment, this is the best receiver for 8k. Easy installation, great sound, two mobile apps, very easy to use. And he's good with TV.
    Cons
    • No for this money

Outstanding hardware and performance. Terrible remote control.

5/5 for receiver. 0/5 for remote control. I recently owned a Sony DN1080 and came back after seeing how much better this Denon is. Very impressed with the receiver in every way. Except for the remote control. It's criminally bad and cheap. It feels like the toy is made out of cheap plastic that even tries to imitate brushed metal. Let's do it now. The buttons are so rubbery and raised like they're sold for nursing homes. Remote access is something you don't risk today. You use and keep it all…

    Excellent Dolby Sur. 8K receiver!

I have an Onkyo 686, an old Onkyo 606, a Yamaha XA780 and this is replacing a Denon AVR 540. This AVR-X2700H is extremely easy to set up and has excellent performance; It's 8K ready, so even if you won't be using it for years, you'll be ahead of the technology to come. It only has one HDMI 2.1 output, but it's little used so far; 6 HDMI input where I connected Revain Fire Stick, Apple TV, cable box, BR etc. I haven't used Zone 2 yet. I bought this for my bedroom system, you might think I…

    Denon Best of the Best

Switched my old Denon to Yamaha and thought I would give it a try. yamaha returned after 3 months of torment with a bad hdmi controller and other problems and such a boring audio stale soulless. Have this Denon and it is just an amazing upgrade from my fond memories of my previous Denon. Great bass that's part of Denon's sonic soul, the sound effects are punchy and snappy, just the way you want them. Vocals, personally I would manually set the center speaker to boost a little more than what the

    Big improvement over Sony STR-DN1080

Edit2: up to 4 stars because Denon has supplied a device that fixes the output error listed below. This is a solid receiver that delivers great sound and video. I'm just a bit disappointed with the 4K HDR 120fps issue and the time it took to fix it. makes it impossible to display 4K/120fps output from Xbox Series X, PS5 and next-gen Nvidia cards. Denon is working on a fix, but according to Denon this fix is not a firmware fix. This also applies to Yamaha receivers and other brands of this…

Great receiver with some odd features

I bought this receiver to replace my old Pioneer home theater receiver which didn't support resolutions above 1080p. I upgraded to a 4K projector but kept my 5 Jamo speakers. THE GOOD: • INCREDIBLE sound. Everything sounds a lot cleaner and clearer on the same speakers than on my old Pioneer, which I used to think was pretty good. • The setup menu is easy to navigate. It's very easy to switch between different surround processing methods. • I was ready to buy a HEOS speaker to bring sound to my

Raw aspects are good, firmware and stability not so good

It was a day for me so my experience is limited. Mechanical size is great, heat dissipation (which I've seen complaints about elsewhere) is decent, sound quality is good, features on offer are excellent, BUT. The firmware that controls the AVR-X2700H is simply unreliable and unreliable. FIRMWARE SCREWUP #1 A feature allows you to assign different inputs (HDMI_#, Optical_#) to different named outputs (Blu-ray, CATV, Game, etc.). All of this is very flexible but not reliable. For example, you can

My first Denon experience: Firmware not good

I've been a loyal Onkyo customer for over 20 years but the company seems to be managing their business so badly, at least in the US In order to do that Buy what I wanted, I decided to try the Denon. Before spending what I would normally spend on an AVR, I decided to look at the mid-range model. You will find a lot of feedback on the sound quality of this model, so I will not repeat it, but I will say that I generally agree that this amp is pretty good value for money in this regard. What…
