Hanna Instruments HI 755-26 Alkalinity Reagent Kit, ideal for Alkalinity Checker HC with 25 Tests Review

I really like this reagent. The check is carried out once a week and takes a long time. Also used to test any alk product to see how much it REALLY increases the dose because the readings are so accurate.

This is the best alkalinity test on the market. I wish the reagent was in a larger bottle as I cycle through it fairly quickly on weekly checkups. The measurement is simple and you only get the number of tests that are advertised.

I hate the calcium tester I got from Hannah Instruments, but this alkalinity tester is top notch. While it's very easy to use, you won't necessarily get more accurate results, and you'll still have to go through about the same time as you would with another test kit, say the Red Sea.

I love all of the Hanna tools I have and are an inexpensive way to constantly test my aquarium parameters. Check the recall on the kit you are receiving, my last batch was recalled so am awaiting a new batch direct from Hanna. So you might not want to wait until you run out of solution before placing an order, Hanna will ship a new batch in 2-4 weeks.

Have been using this product for many years. Apart from a few batches that Hanna remembered, I had good results with my Hanna alkalinity analyzer and these reagents. It's nice to get a replacement syringe, although I would have preferred a new cuvette with mailing.

Much easier to use than the API Alkalinity Kit. More expensive than the API kit (when purchasing a Hanna handheld colorimeter), but simpler and more accurate. And my time and impatience come into play when I have to check the alkalinity in a saltwater aquarium on a daily basis. For me Hanna Instruments Alkalinity Checker is the only way out.
