About a week ago I wrote that this product does not suit me and I want to return it. Haven't heard from the supplier or Revain and now it looks like I'm stuck with the product because the return time has expired.

Pros
  • Provides an external number for easy identification and control Can be attached to a key fob.
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Works great with my Keyscan system

My local security consultant went broke and I had to look for replacement key fobs for my Keyscan system. I ordered 40 from Revain and was very satisfied. They're programmed the same as other HID Corp keychains I've bought from him. In fact, they worked so well that I shared my experience with one of the tenants in my building and he bought several for his business (who also runs Keyscan).

Pros
  • Save when you buy in bulk! Lifetime Guarantee!
Cons
  • Poor manual

Buy a real HID fob, not a cheap no name one

There was a problem with the reader because sometimes we had to bring the fob 2 or 3 times to open the door. It turned out that the problem lay in cheap nameless keychains. (Slim gray ones that are blank on the back and have a 5-digit number on the front.) These HID fobs cost 10x the cheap ones, but they work the first time, every time. Spend your money and buy the right thing.

Pros
  • Supports formats up to 85 bits, with over 137 billion codes
Cons
