Tight fit but amazing performance

This item was used on a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Size 3/4 fits perfectly and removes the staples. It is better to install it in place first and insert the fitting before removing it. The aluminum design is way better than any other plastic tool I've used.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • A few small things

Good compared to plastic. Unfortunately none of these worked for me.

Well-made tool, but unfortunately it didn't suit me. I bought it because it was recommended by a lot of friends who have similar cars and needed to replace the heater hoses and tees, but I actually just removed the heater tee without it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

This is the tool to get

I used to use plastic quick releases, especially the orange one. They did the job but they didn't fit perfectly and the effort required just caused pain in my fingers. This tool, on the other hand, fits perfectly, is rigid, doesn't bend, and gets the job done quickly without causing pain in your fingers.

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I will add later

Great tool. Not for 02 Suburban

I ordered this tool for my Suburban 02 to replace the plastic pipes on the heater hoses in the bulkhead. The problem was that the tool didn't fit in any of the tubes. When you open the tool to wrap it around one of them, it keeps hitting the pipe next to it, preventing you from closing the tool to use it. End up with 2 small screwdrivers to snap the clips in place to remove the old pipes. The tool looks great in my toolbox, maybe one day it will be used.

Pros
  • Articulated design allows tool to slide over heater hose in tight spaces.
Cons
  • Dear

It's very pretty but not worth it

I ordered this because I thought it would make it easier to disconnect my heater hose quick disconnects. I went back to my plastic OTC angle loosening tool (black). The advantage of the plastic corner joint is that the round part is in two parts and you can insert one half into each. You can't do that with a part that has no flex, and this one has no flex at all. It might be ok for some things, but not for 2006 Chevy quick couplers. I struggled with this tool for too long and then compared theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Insert a tool into the connector to loosen the wire.

helps! But still not perfect!

The product finally helped! But with my Silverado, as the video showed, I had to pinch my finger, Oops ๐Ÿ˜‰! between the open gap so the pins are about 1/8 inch or more apart to loosen with the pliers at the end of the tubing. At first I tried inserting a tiny screwdriver into a tight spot instead of a finger, but I don't have three hands! My little tip is to make the glide ring a bit thicker! You need that. I used to replace them with a plastic fuel line kit but figured a metal one would beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Type of installation: vehicle-specific
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
