I have been using this mic for over 3 years and have recommended it to several friends who have asked me for advice on a good chat mic. I also love that it comes with both a desktop stand and an additional adhesive mount that attaches to the side of the monitor to keep it out of the way when not in use. At first I thought it was crap because even though my computer knew it was plugged in, the mic didn't pick up the sound or it was so weak the recorder didn't pick it up. I really recommend it for general microphone users. It works great with online chat and does a pretty good job of recording. One thing I always get comments about is my loud typing with my old mic, but this one works like a charm canceling my typing and even my noisy air conditioner right behind me. Got this mic for skype and it seemed to work pretty well for about a month. A few minor quirks that were acceptable considering the price: * It picked up a lot of noise around it, not directly in front of it, but as long as the environment was quiet enough, other people could hear me just fine. it stopped working fully after about a month.
