High quality cables and connectors

Excellent quality cables and connectors. I used it for an ADS-B antenna and its performance matches the length of the cable. The connectors are a tight fit and the shrink tubing on the connectors and cable ends ensures a secure physical connection. However, you should also secure the cable and not let it dangle to prevent possible disconnection. I am very happy with this purchase and am planning to replace some of the RG-8 cables with these as the LMR400 will perform better at UHF frequencies.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Damaged

Good quality cable.

This is the real deal. Buy with confidence I have never used them and all I can say is the quality is very high and these cables work very well. I am using this cable and the 35ft version to power a Diamond x300na on my roof. My SWR is about 1.2:1 on VHF and about 1.3:1 on UHF. In between I have a lightning arrestor with #6 wire to my ground rods.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Significant reduction in signal loss

This is a great cable. LMR is unbeatable in terms of loss-to-cost ratio. I tested all kinds of antenna and cable combinations to extend LTE from remote weak signal areas to even more remote areas using Wilson ygis with ZTE MF279 in combination with Mikrotik SXTsq wireless bridges. Using this LMR400 instead of the RG58 to connect a Yagi LTE router resulted in a gain of -11dBi. Don't skimp on the cable if you want the most efficiency.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

High quality cable suitable for cables and connections

I have used two of these cables before and have nothing but praise for MPD Digital, they use very high quality components and cables and the quality and productivity of their manufacturing process has improved significantly. showed persistence beyond 4 years.

Pros
  • Price
Cons

Excellent cables and connections

Thin piece of cable. Plugs are plugged in correctly. Real Times Cable, no such thing as "almost as good as Uncle Bob's Cable and the Noodle Factory". Well packaged (wrapped). Works great in the L-band (and I suspect other parts of the microwave spectrum as well). Seems like it has been raining 24/7 for months since it was outside :) I didn't see any problems at all.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not secure

unreliable cables at accessories and consumables

Absolutely terrible quality control on these cables. had them on the tower and had problems with an unstable signal. When I went to change the radio and antenna, I noticed that these cables were falling apart. Upon further inspection, the outer shield was not properly crimped and the inner contacts were not crimped at all. see picture of never crimped pin.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons

Very good cellular cable!

The reason I got this was for a cell booster. Made a world of difference compared to the RG6 cable I had. 3G download speeds went from 1Mbps to 3Mbps and my downloads went from 0.5Mbps to 1Mbps. Cell tower is 32 km away from us on 4 hills. It is worth buying a quality cable! The cable itself is quite stiff and rigid. I had to buy an adapter to go from antenna to cable and from amplifier to cable. Worked fine with no problems.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Fits
