Worth a premium over budget competitors

After spending a week researching literally every aspect of monitors and on a budget of $400 I settled on this MAG321CQR and couldn't be happier. I've switched from Dell's 27-inch 1080p IPS display with a glossy finish and consider it an upgrade in every way. I'm sitting at least 37 inches from the display, otherwise I'd probably find it too big. First of all, in case you haven't already checked it out. already made a decision, visit pcpartpicker.com. It's great for comparing products. I also…

Updated review: monitor had to be returned :/

UPDATED REVIEW: Unfortunately, after about a month and a half of using the monitor, this monitor began to experience this random screen flickering issue. After several months of research, this wasn't a good take on what caused the random flickering. Some say it comes from a cheap displayport cable so I bought two well known brands and it still flickered; He also did it with HDMI. I thought it was my computer so I deleted and reinstalled the GPU drivers but the problem still occurred. I've…

    Great all round monitor

If you can run 4k then this monitor is a real beauty. I looked through a ton of reviews before picking it up and the reviewers said it had ghosting issues, but I don't know if it's because I'm coming from an old 1080p Viewsonic monitor or something. But the colors are really vibrant and I haven't had any major issues with this display. My only cons of this monitor: - KVM died within 3 days. I didn't buy this for KVM. It was nice to be able to run cables, but KVM issues seem to be common with…

    WARNING ! SPEAKERS NOT INCLUDED.

It's a really nice and crisp monitor with a really nice panel, but there's just one simple catch: it's crisp and cheap. No speakers, I recently found out that not all monitors have speakers and just assumed they all come with some but hey that's my fault and I want other people to know before they buy this monitor, in hoping it has sound, oh by the way you are connecting the HDMI to the graphics card, not the motherboard. lol

    I think fur is ok

It's ok for the price but compared to a pair of Dell monitors I've had the quality was a lot lower. Black is not always black, at best a dark shade of grey. The blue color is not that sharp compared to my other monitors. If it's the only monitor on your desk you'll be fine, but if you can compare it to others I can say the quality of my 5 year old Dell displays is much better. Unfortunately, going back to Revain is hate. I think I'll try the next price level and see if the quality is better.

So I start Display Port and use this computer and then turn it off. Then start the switcher and it will automatically boot from HDMI1. Overall a great VA panel

I had it within a week. Pros: The construction feels great. If you're using a stand, the legs are metal and the stand is covered in a black plastic sheath that looks like metal. The frame is metal (we're assuming aluminum). No glue marks on the edge of the screen. Vesa can be installed if you don't use a stand. The stand is easy to adjust and way better than most standard stands I've used. There are almost no limits. The frame is about 1 1/2mm on the sides and 1mm on the top. Approximately 1cm…

The best monitor I've ever had

Coming from Asus 1440p 144Hz monitors, I wasn't expecting much until I unboxed this beast. It has so many options! I'm a big fan of AI image enhancement and night vision, and it's not even skin deep. The colors are amazing, almost perfectly calibrated. I couldn't believe the difference from my old monitor, even for basic things like the icons in the taskbar. I use it for both work (even the text looks great) and FPS games. I was impressed by HDR, even my 4k pseudo Samsung TV didn't look as good

    Great monitor for the price

Had to replace monitor as my previous one broke, luckily I found a similar one at Revain. I was very happy with this monitor so I went looking for it again. It has excellent picture quality and a decent size for my taste. One caveat: not all monitors are color calibrated the same! This also applies to the same model. So be prepared if you have to fiddle with the color settings manually. Otherwise a great purchase.

The first high refresh rate 4K monitor that's right for you

4K High Refresh has come a long way: early monitors required dedicated fans and had very few inputs. Current generation displays are better, but the often-recommended Gigabyte models don't have the full bandwidth of hdmi 2.1 48Gbps, while the LG and ASUS models are overpriced. /O (6 USB ports that can be connected to 3 input sources via KVM). I didn't play around with the settings enough to be able to draw any firm conclusions about the image quality, but at first glance there's nothing to…

I bought it in 2020 when I got a new computer. Never had a dead pixel problem as some reviews explained what I got in 2020 never had a problem with it. That being said, I can't wait to replace my old second HP monitor with this one!

    Disappointing quirks: my review

I bought a couple of these monitors for basic home/business use. No games or high-end graphics. They look great right out of the box and seem to work well, but I have a couple of complaints that make me seriously look for something else despite being so cheap: 1) No easy input select button! Changing the inputs is done by a series of 10 (TEN) presses of the MINIMUM button on the monitor. I use dual screen for work and PC. So to switch a workstation, that's 20 keystrokes to get it working! 2) I…

Very good monitor when it works

I had read other reviews about HDMI flickering issues, so I decided to connect it to an MSI Gen2 USB 3.0 docking port (which in turn is connected to an MSI GE66 Raider laptop) using the included DisplayPort cable . The monitor turned on immediately and I was able to bump the resolution up to 4K at 60Hz with no problem (unfortunately 60Hz is the maximum the dock can output). However, as shown in the attached image, there seems to be a strange "smearing" or "pixelation" issue with any icon…

A common screen problem ruins a great monitor

I bought three variants of these G24c monitors in late November 2017 and they ticked all the right boxes: 144Hz, 1ms response time and great picture (for 1080p). I didn't care that they were curved, but after buying them and putting them on my desk I found that I liked the effect. I wasn't looking for 4k or 1440 at the time and it's a solid 1080p display if it works as expected. At first I couldn't use FreeSync because I had a GTX1080 and it wasn't supported yet. TLDR: Great screen (after setup) and useful KVMFirst, something I don't particularly like. 1. I need to switch KVM and input profiles separately. I have yet to decipher the "Macro" button at the bottom of the screen.2. Poor brightness/contrast settings when delivered. What I liked: 1. This monitor is still amazing. This is a very bright panel, admittedly a bit too bright at times. I've played around with the colors in the MSI Display app and in the monitors' own menu and managed to tone them down a bit, but they still look fairly saturated. For me it's not really a problem. The monitor itself is great. Build quality, colors and sharpness are first class. I definitely cannot recommend the monitor enough myself. My biggest problem (and the reason for the 3 star rating) is that after about 10 months I had a dead pixel streak at the top of the screen. Because it was still under warranty. Good compromise for ultra wide games

This monitor is an excellent compromise between excellent picture clarity while maintaining an ultra-wide format. I wanted ultrawide but wanted a panel next to VA and a 120Hz+ refresh rate. The main reason for choosing an IPS panel was the fact that VA panels are notorious for ghosting.
