2 sticks causing BSOD on some boards

6 months ago I bought a set of 2x4GB sticks from Patriot for my ga-a320m-s2h board and to be honest I've seen good results at first. I was very happy with my purchase. However, shortly after that, I started getting excessive blue screens. I found that the BSODS thread I was getting was RAM related so I started testing to find the problem. After checking the RAM in Windows and checking both sticks individually (in both slots on my board) I came to the conclusion that only one flash drive was…

Not bad internals

I'd recommend getting a 16GB two stick kit, but if you're going to buy it then upgrading to that isn't a bad idea. I recently received a 32GB kit and found that they don't work with that kit (same RAM). I know the speed isn't the fastest but it's ok if you meet the minimum requirements for the games you play, if you don't play but edit I can't help you because I have this kind of not doing work. However, I can say that the speed is good for the system and is a good stepping stone when you're…

1 stick arrived DOA

I have bought all types of rams from different brands for many builds and have never received a DOA ram stick. The other works great and overclocks well from 2400 to 2666, but is very sluggish when running a Windows 10 PC with only 4GB of RAM. I tried to get a replacement but I loaded my debit card with enough money to order my system. Since I didn't have another $40 on my card, they didn't send me a new set. So now I have to wait until I have enough money to order more RAM, which may take a…

Caused lots of blue screens of death and error codes

This 16GB stick was bad from the start. When I installed it on the motherboard and booted up my computer, in less than 10 minutes my computer started getting a blue screen with various error codes. At first I wasn't sure if RAM was the culprit, so I decided to try a clean install of Windows, but the install failed. Then I tried to install Ubuntu (Linux OS) and the installation hung, so I ordered two 8GB RAM modules from another manufacturer and everything worked fine. just bad luck with this…

I like the plain black design and the P symbol

It's going well, I like the logo design. I thought you were related to the video game company Platinum Games when I first saw the Aries logo because they and you have almost the same P symbol, I mean Aries logo basically.

Computers and accessories blue screen error

So I made a simple build for my dad to surf the web and watch videos. Includes AMD 200 GE, EVGA 80+ Bronze, Asrock B450M Pro4 Matx, PNY 240 Gb SSD and these two ram sticks (Patriot 2x4Gb DDR4 2666MHz). He repeatedly got a blue screen with an error when playing Solitaire and logging into FaceBook. The error mentioned something about "Kernel Error". I traded Patriot Sticks for Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 and you know what?! His computer no longer throws a blue screen error. Imagine!

100% compatible with Dell Inspiron 5675

Ordered an additional 1 x 16GB Patriot DDR4 2400MHz UDIMM with heat shield to add the 8GB Dell memory in our Dell Inspiron 5675 gaming desktop as the specs were compatible. Once installed, the freeware CPU-Z now reports 24GB of RAM running at full speed in dual-channel mode. Glitches and freezes that appeared in some games have completely disappeared. Task Manager previously showed almost 100% RAM usage, now 30%! Fast delivery. A very happy customer!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Something else

Not fully compatible with all motherboards

I bought three 4GBx2 kits to work on Gigabyte B360M DS3H and H310 S2P motherboards but couldn't get them with two DRAM modules installed bring to boot. Both motherboards will boot with one stick of DRAM inserted, but not both. Tried another brand of memory and the boot problem went away and all mobile devices booted with 2x4GB memory installed. I've used Patriot memory in the past with good results, but these are lemons. To return.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
