I used this to pump water from a giant inflatable slide into a pool to save water. The slide was continuously filled with water from a garden hose for 3 hours. The small pump was able to pump out all the water in just over an hour and then switch off. It comes with a handy little hose so you don't have to detach and move the garden hose.

I bought this pump for our underground pool step. When we have a lot of rain it's nice to be able to pump it out without pulling the hose out of the pool. It works but doesn't turn on and off automatically. Because of this, I unfortunately have to be at home to turn it on and off. The description says it turns itself off to keep the motor from burning out. Not sure how it works as there is no float so I didn't risk it. I wish I had bought one with a float to turn it on and off!

Worked as expected until we hit the 1" depth range. I'm not entirely sure but he acted a little finicky. It sounded like it would work but stopped pumping from time to time. I thought maybe the water level was too low but then I lifted it up and it started pumping again. Maybe it was clogged or something. I would say it was not so is 850 gpm, my bilge pump on my boat was 600 and looked like someone had opened a fire hydrant, this would have full flow with a regular garden hose but I don't think

I bought this little pump because I was tired of taking buckets of pool water and pouring it over the grass where it would flood. Within 45 minutes the entire sidewalk was drained after a very heavy downpour. Should we have known there was a good 5 inch puddle in our encapsulated underground, it was in an awkward spot.
