Good lens for Astro/Aurora

This is a good lens for Night/Astro/Aurora but high contrast shots (like daytime sky shots) have a lot of chromatic aberration from f2 to f22 - nowhere. In addition, the focus ring is sensitive to movement. So moving the setting even slightly will give you the same stellar coma you typically see on lenses that don't work well at night (although it's not exactly the case). Good lens for a small price

I bought this lens as a (relatively) cheap attempt to improve the night sky quality over the stock lens on my Sony A200 (Sony f3. 5-5 lens, 6/18-70mm) . Considering the price of this lens, this is a step up in this department. Judging by the cost and results, I'd say this is an intermediate step, but perhaps not a significant one. Attached are 2 photos I took with the same camera and with each lens so you can compare, the first is with the original lens at around 45 seconds exposure, the second
