Ideal color - knitting and crocheting

I love this yarn. This is the perfect color for the sunflowers created for the Afghan dress. The yarn is dense, smooth, does not tangle and is easy to work with.

  • Dreams come true
Cons

Stop buying: knitting and crocheting

This is a terrible ball of yarn. I've started my project and I'm dealing with a new ball of yarn every few rows. The center of this ball is just terrible.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great price, good yarn

Good yarn, inexpensive but soft and works well with good stitch definition. For almost all of my projects I have to buy machine washable/dry yarn. People just don't want to bother with hand washing anymore!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

It's Not Soft - Yarn

yarn at a great price, don't get me wrong I bought this for a raincoat I was planning to make thinking it was nice and soft. It's not like this. It seems that grandmother's sweater she knitted for you is rough and spiky. Other reviews here said it was soft and I'm glad they got the soft yarn. Not me.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Almost everything is

Good yarn quality

Bernat Garn has never disappointed me. I recently used sky blue to crochet some Christmas trees. I have also used this super valuable yarn to knit sweaters. At first glance, the yarn may not seem soft enough for clothes, but after the clothes are sewn and washed, the yarn becomes softer and very comfortable.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Decent bulky yarn

At least for me it crochet well and has a somewhat average texture. It's not super rough, but it's not silky soft either. I personally would like something softer when making clothes, but since I mostly just make stuffed animals, this works great. Nice strong yarn.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Much softer than Red Heart

I'll never buy Red Heart again when knitting veteran scarves. Bernat yarn is much softer. If it were a bit thicker it would be ideal, but I use it almost exclusively when I need a softer, good quality yarn for skin-contact projects. I also like the coloring. I wish it was more available locally.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
