My wooden chairs are on a wooden floor. These protectors are perfect to avoid scratching my floor. In addition, the felt padding on the underside ensures that the chairs slide silently across the floor. The only small problem is that sometimes when you lift the chair the protectors fall off. But overall I am very satisfied and will order more if necessary.

I was hesitant to try them because it was a nightmare keeping track of the sticky felt pads on the bar stools in our dining room - they kept falling off, sticky stuff landing on hardwood floors, etc. I decided to take it a chance and I'm glad I did. They're not the prettiest, but I'll use them over felt anytime now! Ditch the felt sliders and buy these instead.

The plastic on the underside of my chair left marks on the floor. I ordered these and they slid right onto the legs of the chair. The fit was perfect and there were no more marks on my floor. I also ordered enough for my dining room chairs. Will definitely order again in the future if needed. They glide easily over the floor and certainly don't stand out. Recommended for any hard surface. They are way better than felt because they don't stay in place.

We have luxury vinyl plank floors throughout the house and I wanted felt pads on all of my chairs to keep the planks from scratching. Pros: They go well with the chairs. Cons: They absolutely don't slide on the boards. I have to lift the chair underneath me to move it away from the table. I am disappointed but they will all be removed and I will have to try something else. For ceramic tiles, they are great. For vinyl planks, they're terrible.

These chair shoes are expectedly useless, at least for our chairs. If your chair leg is NOT EXACTLY the right size, or for example isn't quite square, tapered at all, they have no chance of working.
