Works but this one just doesn't seem to work. The product - water thread - is a very good product in itself, but this part just doesn't fit right. It's like she's moved a little to one side. It's the only one I've had to rev up to 3x higher to get it up to decent speed. I usually set it to 2 or 3, which is strong enough; I don't have it on about 7 or 8.

The wand does what it's supposed to do. The problem for me was the blue pause button on the handle. In theory, the ability to stop the flow of water is a good idea, but two of them broke that feature. First the button starts to stick in the closed position, then extends again and then stops working altogether. I went through the cleaning process regularly and the problem still occurred. When the replacement started sticking, I just stopped using the pause button.

The photo shows new parts on top, old ones on bottom. Not the same. I reused the old spring and screws, used a new ring. The old source was key, the new source wasn't good enough. The new plastic is more flexible so will last longer than the stiff old hose that ruptured. It is more convenient to use. WaterPik is fine except for one thing. Where the hose hits the bottom, the hose is torn. So it leaked below. Only the hose needs to be replaced. You don't have to throw away the entire WaterPik machine. But I don't know why it should break after a few months. If anyone else had this bottom leak issue, just replace the entire hose and handle. Works exactly like my original pen - you press a button to stop the water flow. The pressure increases/decreases as the dial is turned up/down, so it seems to work the same as the original. It was very easy to install with almost no problems. One thing to watch out for is installing a new gasket. It slipped out of my fingers as I put it down and fell into a hole in the car.
