Type of review

Looks solid and well built but the valve has almost no resistance between opening and closing. I am using it for a truck mounted air tank that will also work with an air locker. I don't need a stick or other obstacle to exhaust my air supply. I'll probably transfer it to my shop compressor and find something else for the truck.

Pros
  • Stopcock with Grounding Plug
Cons
  • Great Price

Arrived early and easily installed

This came a day earlier than I expected. It was easy to install in my Porter Cable Pancake Compressor. This is much easier to use than the knurled drain that came as original equipment. The original kept getting stuck and I had to get out my pliers to get it loose. This new one spins easily with just my fingers. I was a little worried it might leak, but no. As some other reviewers have pointed out, having stoppers to open and close would be a nice improvement.

Pros
  • Max Working Pressure: 200psi WOG
Cons
  • Expensive

Surprisingly well built.

Correct brass drain valve? for the cost of those stupid bent metal fenders? Yes, please! I bought this for my old compressor, it had a drain plug which was very difficult to reach. Dropping one of them and bending it at a 90 degree angle made draining that much easier. The quality is excellent, no leaks from the valve, smooth turning and good sealing. Everything you can get your hands on is brass, the full length hex body makes installation easy, the threads are well formed, the flared handle…

Pros
  • Increased Strength; High strength
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
