Good price for a 1GB card

When buying a digital SLR camera I ordered a 1GB Sandisk memory card. I thought the read/write speed was enough. During my daughter's wedding, I asked our professional photographer what he uses. He said he has several of these Sandisk Ultra II cards and these cards are sufficient for his work. I asked him if I should get Sandisk Extreme cards. He replied that the Ultra II is a lot better for the money than the regular Sandisk cards, but not much different than the Extreme cards, which cost aโ€ฆ

Good choice for flash memory

I've had a Canon 10D for about 3 years and in that time I've shot over 12,000 shots for NASCAR racing, railroad photography, other sports and waterfalls. I have only ever used one memory card in this camera, a 1GB Sandisk Ultra II CompactFlash card. I have never lost a photo or had a typo on the card. I go hiking a lot and my camera (in my bag) dropped a few times and all the data was still there when I got home to upload photos to my computer. When I capture multiple images, it takes 9 imagesโ€ฆ

Good product - CompactFlash cards

I use this card for digital photography. I started out with the Lexar 80X thinking I really needed the extra speed. However after talking to some friends I decided to try this one (since I needed 1 gig and my Lexar was only 512) because it was cheaper and from what I heard it worked pretty much the same. It turns out this is true. I shoot with a Canon PowerShot Pro1 8MP. I have friends who use 20D and D70 and they all think SanDisk works fine. I think you might need 80X if you're shooting withโ€ฆ

Solid actor. A must for a digital photographer.

One of the great things about the digital age is that the cost per megabyte of storage is going down all the time. This is where we can all benefit from this technological gift - the 1GB SanDisk Ultra II CF memory card is a really good product. I can use it in either my Nikon D100 camera or my Canon S50 compact camera and take hundreds of shots before downloading the card to my laptop. The card is very fast, so much so that in most cases the write speed is simply not noticeable. Time (if it's a

FIRST MEMORY CARD PURCHASE

PURCHASED THIS CARD FOR MY NEW REBEL XTI - ALSO MY FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA. I LIKE THEM BOTH! THIS CARD ALLOWS TO TAKE ALL THE PHOTOS I WANT AND NEVER END OF MEMORY. I USUALLY RIP 50-200 PER DISTANCE AND THEN DOWNLOAD IT TO COMPUTER. IF I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DOWNLOAD, I KNOW I STILL HAVE LOTS OF SPACE. TODAY I PHOTOGRAPH MY SON'S JUNIOR PRODUCTION. CANNOT RECEIVE ALL THESE PICTURES. YOU WILL LOVE ALL MEMORY. FOR A 10MP CAMERA I CAN TAKE OVER 600 PHOTOS ON THIS CARD!

  • New

  • Not as thick as other options

Best memory card on the market

I have over 20 memory cards (CF, SD, xD etc) for PDAs, phones, digital cameras etc and this Sandisk 60x CF card is by far the fastest card I have ever used have used. I use it on a Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP DSLR. Amazing little machine: I no longer have to wait for pictures to save before moving on to the next, this allows me to use burst mode (14 pictures in 5 seconds), now I can record high-resolution videos of up to 20 pictures. Minutes in MPEG mode, and photo playback is almostโ€ฆ
