Works well for screen door

I used this for a screen porch sliding door to cover the gap between the frame and door. So far, so good and I had exactly the right amount to do the whole frame (3 sides that I needed).

Pros
  • ENERGY SAVING - Used on windows & doors to improve energy efficiency by sealing gaps and leaks which allow outside air to enter, and inside conditioned air to escape
Cons
  • Leaves black residue on carpet or hard surfaces

Did the trick! on my review.

Very easy to trim & install. I had significant gaps around my back door - you could see outside. This did a fantastic job of filling the gaps & I no longer feel a cold breeze coming in. I can definitely feel a difference in temperature too. Glad I purchased.

Pros
  • Have only done a small test piece to see if it will work for my application. Seems that it will.
Cons
  • Falls apart too easily

Quick, Easy, Cheap in my review

Used it to block the draft coming through our sliding glass door. We installed a doggy door which then prevents the weather stripping between the two glass pieces from sealing properly allowing the winter cold air coming through the door. Installed one on the inner side of the outside glass door and a piece on the outer side of the inside glass door. Its not a 100% seal, but cut the draft down tremendously and doesn't squeak like the rubber flat we installed previously.

Pros
  • Building Supplies
Cons
  • Proves ineffective in the long term

cant go wrong for my opinion

i used this to go in between two pains of glass on a sliding door that has a pop in doggy door. there was a large draft coming in through the two parts of the door. this fixed it right up. the door and still open fine and closes with no problems. worked just as expected.

Pros
  • put on a screen door and it was really easy to attach to the screen door. keeps the cold air out.
Cons
  • Not this product's fault, but I really needed a deeper brush (can't find anything out there).

Nice window sealer/weatherstrip.

Fits perfectly on the edge of the window to fill in the gap on the space between the window and the window screen. Used two layers of this weatherstrip because there are small insects/flies that I want to avoid crawling inside.

Pros
  • works fine
Cons
  • Not compatible with paint jobs

Perfect for Garage Doors

Was looking for a good weatherstripping to go on inside edge of garage door header and down both sides. This was the perfect pile application to place on inside of trim to keep out the draft and moisture. Extremely sticky and priced well.

Pros
  • The Weatherstrip I bought was very thick and kept the dirt out . I would buy it again.
Cons
  • Creates an unattractive appearance on windows

Works Really Well good for me

I purchased this based on all the good reviews and it works really well. I had a small gap at the bottom of my front door and couldn't believe the difference. The adhesion is terrific and I have no doubt it won't be coming off unless I remove it.

Pros
  • MATERIAL - Woven pile weatherseal material
Cons
  • Might cause skin rash or irritation

Worked great for my opinion

This stuff sticks very well used it on a warped storefront door on the areas of the latch and where the factory astrigal didn’t seal the gap well

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • Not suitable for uneven surfaces

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with it on my review.

Very happy with it, the tape used is like double strength carpet tape but it's also forgiving to if you put it in the wrong place you can pull it up slowly and the adhesion is still just as strong. I went on the picture so I thought it was bigger (never measured) I'd say it's about the width of a males pinky finger

Pros
  • Weather Stripping
Cons
  • Poor customer service

So far, so good - my new review

Arrived promptly, unusual these days even with Revain Prime in my area. Adhered well to an imperfect surface and tall enough to stop the draft around my door after I overtightened my deadbolt's striker plate screws and warped the door frame.

Pros
  • Easy to apply and cuts down cold air entering through slider.
Cons
  • Comes in an inconvenient roll size

Air gap issue solved

This product was easy to use and solved the air gap issue I had after installing a doggy door insert to my sliding glass door.

Pros
  • ‎9.9 ounces
Cons
  • Doesn't last long enough

It just works (and compresses fairly well!)

Works well on several types of doors in my house including a hideaway door into the eaves for storage that had a very thin gap. A big bonus of the brush style draft stopper is that it is more compressible than the solid rubber/silicone ones. It will require more effort to close the respective door, but that is arguably a good thing as it means a tighter seal. Do note that perhaps at the risk of a shorter lifespan for high traffic areas, to me it's well worth having to replace (when I do) as…

Pros
  • Easy to use. No mess and sticks well. Made a great draft stopper.
Cons
  • Difficult to trim without it falling apart

Worked Great for Pet Door Insert

I recently purchased a Pet Door Insert for our sliding glass door which leads into the backyard. The insert itself was not as think as the sliding glass door itself which lead to many different gaps allowing cold air into the kitchen. I bought this strip to see if I couldn't insulate the gaps and keep the cold out. I immediately noticed a difference as I was laying down the strip and now that we've finished the door seems airtight. Would recommend this product to anyone!

Pros
  • It helped tremendously, air was always coming through my kitchen door, it made a HUGE DIFFERENCE
Cons
  • Hard to clean

Filled the gap on my review.

I had a gap around my storm door that allowed air coming in and out. This product was easy to use and filled the gap nicely No returns policy listed!

Pros
  • DIMENSION - 3/8 in. width x 3/8 in. height x 65.6 ft. length
Cons
  • No returns policy listed

Outstanding best in my review

In my opinion, pile weather stripping is better than the foam stripping you can purchase at the national hardware stores. It conforms better to the gap and it doesnt come off due to the opening and closing of the door over time. These big chains ought to sell this rather than the foam barrier.Any new window you purchase has this type of stripping rather than foam stripping because its much better.

Pros
  • ‎TamBee
Cons
  • Cannot be used universally

Outstanding product and easy to install!

I highly recommend this product. It was very easy to install, and it works. I suggest cleaning the surface with alcohol or an alcohol-based cleaner before applying and drying the freshly cleaned surface to ensure maximum adhesion.

Pros
  • The self-adhesive design of the weatherstrips makes installation quick and fuss-free, saving you time and energy.
Cons
  • Doesn't hold up to pets scratching or jumping on the window or door

High suggest! - my new review

We used this between our dog door insert and the sliding door. Before we had foam and could feel breeze and cold air coming in. With this it is much warmer by the door. It was easy to peel the backing off and stick.

Pros
  • Excellent stick and stops air flow thru relatively large gaps
Cons
  • Uncomfortable texture

Its perfect - my new review

I got this to keep wasps from gettiny trapped between my screen door and front door. Its served it purpose and im no longer terrified to open my door.

Pros
  • To try and block out cold air coming into the house from our sliding door.
Cons
  • Too expensive for its quality

Loses stickiness fast

Bought to close 1 inch gap at top of front screen door. First week was fine but after that, it feel right down, lost it’s adhesion completely. Gorilla glue done the trick, however I shouldn’t have needed to resort to that.

Pros
  • It does as the description says lol
Cons
  • Overpriced compared to competitors
