Unstable quality

The first one I bought had a good edge. Bought a second one, broke in half on first use. This is typical for products made in China.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Do not hesitate to buy this product

Purchased for chiseling MDF boards. I didn't expect Otto to last too long but never opened the 2nd bit. Very well cut, better than expected. Great buy for the price.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Great plywood drill bit

I have used this drill bit to cut blind grooves in plywood and it has been excellent. Compared to the noise and vibration of the straight beats, it was just a dream; calm and smooth. In addition, he left a zero gap on the surface of the plywood.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Durable

Still sharp after 12 hours of CNC cutting

I ordered this to use in my CNC router. A batch of wooden pencil cases (walnut and maple) had to be cut and a new piece ordered to avoid cracking. I took a chance because the price was low. I wasn't expecting much but it's still very sharp after 12+ hours of cutting. Maybe just a hair over 1/4" since my 1/4" index pins were a little loose in the mounting holes drilled with this bit. However, I will definitely be ordering more of these pens for future work. Very satisfied with cut quality and…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other cutters

Good price for high quality uncoated end mills.

Good end mills. Plain unplated metal but they come well packaged and sharp enough to cut your finger (I hear). Good price for what they are. However, due to the lack of cover, they get dirty faster.

Pros
  • Straight, spiral and scoring cutters
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I needed this tool for this job.

I cut 1/32" deep and 10.5" diameter circles out of ΒΌ" plywood to position the second piece and the cut was messy. Bought these undercut spiralizers and they cleaned the cuts well. Two-factor sharpener and spiral cutter with plunge cut. All directions of the fibers on the tree without problems. I needed this tool for this job.

Pros
  • Bit
Cons
  • No Instructions

Well made, works exactly as a quality drill should

Purchased to cut a radius through laminate glued to a board of MDF used on commercially made table saw carriages. The downward spiral cut left a very smooth, clean edge on the thin plastic, just how I wanted it. He also left a clean, smooth edge on the MDF and a sheet of plastic taped to the bottom for when the surface makes contact with the table saw. Find "Making an Ultra-Precise Angle Fence".

Pros
  • Spiral
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
