I ordered this to use in my CNC router. A batch of wooden pencil cases (walnut and maple) had to be cut and a new piece ordered to avoid cracking. I took a chance because the price was low. I wasn't expecting much but it's still very sharp after 12+ hours of cutting. Maybe just a hair over 1/4" since my 1/4" index pins were a little loose in the mounting holes drilled with this bit. However, I will definitely be ordering more of these pens for future work. Very satisfied with cut quality and service life.
