I bought because I needed to use it daily and thought it wasn't a real "commercial" device but EXPECTED to last 7+ months, 5 working fine, 1 working half-baked, and 1 the pad basically instantly with warm Water saturates best. It works great and definitely heats up to at least 140-180 degrees. The ground feels warm even with a quick pass. The cable was only 30 feet long but was of commercial quality. We had an old Bissell vacuum and steam mop combo and it was quite good as it vacuumed the area before the mop came - saving time not having to clean the floor firstly, it saved a lot of time. I bought this item for two reasons, firstly it was made for commercial use and secondly because of the 50ft cord. Most steam mops are $100 or less, this one was $117, I didn't save much on the purchase. For a "so-called"commercial" steam mop, there's nothing else to be said. It's junk made in China from cheap plastic. I have a good opinion of Bissell products, but this item really let me down, even that one Handle is plastic that I didn't have to pay shipping or tax I just hope it works better…
