not as expected, return issues

I had to return Wacom Mobile Studio as it didn't work as described. I also bought a soft case which I kept. My biggest issue is that Amazon made a mistake and refunded me $26 for the soft case instead of nearly $3500 for the Wacom Mobile Studio. They said that when they received my statement, someone either scanned my statement or wrote it as a soft case, not a mobile studio. Now I have to wait while they investigate my return to get my money back.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some bugs

Accumulation of dead pixels only 6 months after purchase

I do not recommend buying this product. I wanted to try the professional line of mobile studios again after my last 13 inch monitor broke. Since they updated things with the 2019 version I thought why not? Here's why: not only the price is too high, but also the quality control is worst. It looks like a green starry sky in the middle of my screen. Now I'm being sent back and forth between support (not my first rodeo) to (hopefully) get a new tablet, hope it works because if not the round trip…

Great device for the professional digital artist. Downtime sucks.

Pro: The screen resolution, colors and contrast are really good and the side buttons work well. Stylus pens always look great on Cintiq screens. Disadvantages: standing. While the stand is better than the first-gen Cintiq Companion I had, it still lags far behind. It is tied to the main unit with a fairly flimsy attachment system, which has two ever-diverging flaws. This works well if you're just sitting on a table, but if you're holding it on your lap or moving it at all you can expect the…

Support and Information Wacom sucks but it's a good tablet

Drawing on this tablet is so delicious. But the lack of support information and the support that Wacom offers really sucks. I've been having trouble connecting this tablet to my computer for weeks. Firstly, Wacom doesn't specify anywhere what kind of Wacom connection you need to connect this tablet, which made me buy an outdated version, multiple cables and adapters that didn't work with my tablet, made me think it all in one bad condition and spent a lot of money. After several calls to…

updated. Wacom fixed it and now I love it!

: I sent my msp16 in for repair and Wacom sent it back to me as new. And this is the tablet I was expecting! Works perfectly. I mostly use it in Tablet PC mode, but sometimes I connect it to my Imac with a single USB-C cable for dual-screen. However, the touch function is not that good on Mac OSX. My biggest complaint right now is Aries. It comes with 16. It has a panel to add 16 more but that will void your warranty. And indeed, I wish it could go as high as 64. My 6 year old Imac had 24 so…

Pros
  • Easy installation

  • There are more interesting options. Update

DO NOT buy this tablet. You will definitely regret it.

I'm disgusted with Wacom at the moment. I've been using their products for almost twenty years starting with the original Intuos tablet which lasted almost 10 years. I am very serious - do not buy this tablet. The probability of dying within a year is very high. Do a web search for "Wacom MobileStudio Pro problems" and see how many results you get. You can read a much more detailed review below, but in short please save yourself the headache and don't buy this tablet. In fact, I strongly…
