🚨 X-Sense CD07 Carbon Monoxide Detector Alarm with 10-Year Battery, LCD Display, UL 2034 Compliant Review

I'm not an expert on carbon monoxide alarms but this one seems very well made and sturdy. It is very easy to install in less than 5 minutes.

I installed one in my kitchen, the toaster turned it on after I lit the bread. The alarm won't deaf but will surely get your attention. I like the battery indicator light feature, no need to do noisy tests.

I hope better components have been used in the detector. The screws that come with it are so cheap that when you tighten them, your head instantly twists. I was about to send it back but managed to find a couple of countersunk screws that worked.

The product was easy to install and I love the simplicity and design. Still not worth going back if they check their shipments before sending.

Overall your product is fine, but we noticed that both the carbon monoxide alarm and the smoke alarm had an annoying little light that came on every few minutes or so. and no matter where we hung them, a little light would come on every few moments to warn us that everything was fine and that we were both awake. While they are in different parts of the house and the lights go out, we ended up having to cover the light with duct tape, like our old VCR.

Appears to be working well. I had trouble orienting the mounting ring so that it is "right side up". Otherwise the installation is very easy. There are no spare batteries. They are built in and last 10 years so after 10 years you will need to replace the entire unit. The display is easy to read and only turns on when you press a button or see something, so you don't have to worry about glare. The noise is loud enough to wake me up. Looks nice.
