Review on 🔊 Monoprice 10565 Premium 5.1 Channel Home Theater System: Best Subwoofer Black Edition for Enhanced Audio Experience by Neil Biondo

I've wanted to try this system for a long time. I've had a 10565 system in an upstairs game room since October 18th, the main job of which is to connect to an Xbox. Also, I stream music via Bluetooth to an AVR and it works fine (the receiver only puts out about 80-90 watts/ch and at about 50 watts/ch it starts to break down so there's no point in forcing it anyway). It's 200.00, or was it when I got it. for a 5.1 system powered by a subwoofer. Sounds pretty good in this price range. You don't expect to beat the $1500 clip-shit-splitlixblah-blah system at this price point. Accept it, enjoy the great sound it delivers at a reasonable volume, and move on. I wouldn't turn it on 11 for a party and expect her to survive. but I wouldn't do it for every stereo I have. I sympathize with my stuff I think. Although I listened to music at 50% volume for hours. loud enough (rock, metal, etc.). "a lot" is of course subjective. In the 20x12 space it's in there will be pretty decent sound for sound effects and movies for no reason. Again. price here. I paid at least $100 more than I did 20 years ago (really about $400 in today's money) for something less "good". with a passive subwoofer and less power management, and it sounded like a swarm of excited beavers banging on empty wooden crates, not some pretty nice sound from a Monoprice setup. I don't know if I would push these speakers to "rated power". but of course they could hang out at 50' nice, clean watts per channel (you know, before your $300 receiver really starts throwing a lot of distortion anyway). I suspect the target buyer is someone in an apartment where noise levels need to be reasonable. I think it will do a great job of filling the apartment living room with good sound and the subwoofer isn't so crazy that your neighbors will kill you (it has settings for setting levels etc if you tag your neighbors, he goes on you). I say all these things about ' that would upset me. They are not "observers". although they look good enough without the grills compared to some other offerings in this price range I think. To be honest, visually they disappear pretty well. and I think it has a different kind of appeal for people who don't want a flashy, flashy system. Use/Assembly: Easy. 5.1 systems have been around for a while. that's no different than the vast majority. You connect the cables from the appropriate channels on your AV receiver to the various speakers and subwoofers to the subwoofer inputs. The four speakers are identical, it doesn't matter which goes where (front left/right or rear left/right). The center channel is specially manufactured/designed for this. it obviously can't screw it up. The subwoofer itself does not have five outputs. it just takes either RCA inputs, or the volume of the left/right speakers next to the stereo. So it's not necessarily going to turn an old-school two-channel stereo into a 5.1 system. not in a simple plug/play way that I'm familiar with anyway. but I'm hardly an expert. Search YouTube gurus for such information. Instructions are in the box. If you read them I can totally lie on 2->5.1. I haven't read them, but my setup was blindingly simple, even for me.
